Dog-friendly condo w/ fireplace! Great location near dining, music, & breweries

You'll be within steps of breweries, entertainment venues, and some of Portland's very best restaurants at this two-bedroom Buckman escape, a bright, contemporary condo with a gas fireplace, a polished interior, and an ideal location in the heart of the east side. Up to two family dogs are welcome here for a small nightly fee.

This condo is located on East Burnside Street between 14th and 15th Avenues, right at the meeting point of the Buckman and Kerns neighborhoods. Cross the Burnside Bridge by bike or on foot to explore downtown Portland; dine at local favorites such as Le Pigeon, Marukin, Nong's Khao Man Gai, and Tusk within a half-mile stroll; and fill your evenings with live shows at Revolution Hall or Doug Fir Lounge just down the road.

Whether you're traveling to Portland for a conference, a bit of beer-tasting, or a low-key weekend of excellent cuisine, you'll feel right at home in the open living space. Take morning walks on the Eastbank Esplanade three-quarters of a mile west, come home to grab a change of clothes from the private washer/dryer, and fix yourself a cup of Ristretto coffee in the full kitchen (with a dishwasher). Head out the door to meet friends for brunch at Screen Door, spend the afternoon beer-tasting at Base Camp (half a mile south) or Culmination Brewing (half a mile north), and return home to share a few photos on the free WiFi, curl up by the gas fireplace, and find a favorite movie to watch on the flatscreen TV.

Come live like a local on Portland's fun-filled east side - you'll never want to leave this beautiful Eastside condo!

Great spot to spend a few days. Nice location. Quiet for an apartment. Nice space to spend time in with family.
John P. Feb 2021
Grate place. Clean, comfortable, and secure. Only criticism is that parking is very limited and owners are difficult to contact with questions. I would give it 4.5 stars.
Manager response:
Hi John, thank you for staying with us. We apologize that there was a concern about getting in touch with us. We send guests a confirmation email shortly after booking and a check-in email one week prior to arrival. Both of these emails have our contact information. We are available 24 hours a day to assist and address any concerns. We hope to host you in the future.

Lovely apartment, great for us and two kids. Great location, good base camp for seeing Portland. Street parking was easy.
Roselyn R. Aug 2020
The space was just right for my husband, myself and toddler. The high ceilings & natural light made the space feel very open and comfortable. The AC, ceiling fans & extra fans were very nice during the heatwave! The kitchen was grade for reheating take out and cooking, plus the washer dryer and 2 bathrooms are nice! Great spot close to cafes & restaurants. Would love to stay again!

This place was perfect! It comfortably fit my husband and I and our two kids plus it was dog friendly! We were able to travel with our dog and stay in a very clean, centrally located place. If we come back to Portland we will definitely try to stay there again.

Super clean, nice space. Nice to have a fireplace. Walked to many things, parking was easy. Thank you! Would definitely stay again
Kelley B. Mar 2020
This apartment was comfortable and bright and in a great location being just a few blocks from Le Pigeon, Noble Rot, etc.

Clean, comfortable, great!

Spacious unit with nice amenities and bathrooms. Quiet neighborhood with enough street parking, too.
Mary W. Oct 2019
We loved the great location where we were able to walk to downtown easily and to the Hawthorne Blvd area for meals. We even found Voodoo doughnuts right around the corner! We loved the space in this accommodation for three old college girlfriends to each have enough separate breathing room and yet great gathering space in the living room! Highly recommend it!

Perfect for what we needed!
Lori S. Aug 2019
Good location. Clean, spacious, lots of natural light, had everything we needed. Parking was a bit of a challenge.
Stacey E. Jul 2019
We loved our stay and wish we would have been able to stay here longer!
Max A. Jun 2019
Clean, well furnished and well appointed condo in a terrific location in East Burnside. Short walking distance to great coffee, a number of superb restaurants, interesting shops. Longer but still enjoyable walk to downtown Portland. Quiet street only a block off of Burnside. Highly recommended.

We were very impressed with this property. We stayed there for 1 week. We had everything we needed. The king-size bed was so comfortable. Big fluffy towels, washer & dryer, movie channels. Thanks for the portable fans as we used them to project the air conditioning down the hall to the bedrooms. Quiet neighborhood with bike lanes. The Dorian building was secure and we felt very safe. We walked over the bridge to the west side where we found a great oyster bar and the original Voodoo Donuts. We also went to the Portland City Grill on the 30th floor of some tower. Amazing Views! We took a couple of days and went to Cannon Beach. So beautiful! We hiked Saddle Mountain too.
Thanks to Vacasa who called the day we checked in to see if everything was in order. EXCELLENT customer service!

How clean, modern and great natural light

I love this condo which I have rented with my sister two years in a row. I have also rented a one bedroom here when I go by myself. The neighborhood is great. There is street parking if you drive around for a while. We walked all the way into downtown Portland from here. I love the elevator for hauling my baggage. The air conditioner works great. The kitchen and washer/dryer are wonderful. Having two bathrooms for two people is a must! We loved that we didn't have to take turns getting ready to go out. I will miss staying here, but the cost for the condo has gone up dramatically since we stayed her two years ago.

Super convenient To so many things. I was concerned about not being in the Pearl District but turns out that this might’ve actually been better. Easy walk to Lloyd Center which allows you to catch the red and blue line into downtown no problem. In addition there were so many restaurants and pubs in the area that eating out was a piece of cake though the kitchen was fully stocked if we had wanted to cook. To so many things. The lack of parking was not an issue as we didn’t have a car. If we needed to go someplace we used public transit like a local and Uber if in a time crunch. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. It was all the conveniences of being downtown without all the hassles.

We had to work a couple hours so setting up on the kitchen table was perfect as we all had our own workspace. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable which I was thankful for.

Good water pressure; beds were comfortable, pillows too. Only thing we didn’t have was a hair dryer ( which we failed to bring), but it wasn’t a big deal because we were able to go around the corner and purchase one.

The location was good and the condo was nice!!
Robert G. Apr 2019
Very comfortable! Would return, and close to both downtown and convention center.
Christina T. Mar 2019
The condo was comfortable and quiet, a nice walk to the convention center. Comfy bed, convenient location, and more amenities than listed online (including hairdryer and pack n' play). I was traveling with a group, and it worked great to have adjacent condos on the same floor in the same building. We also had Bridgetown - DORIAN 502 and Stumptown - DORIAN 504.
Vidur G. Feb 2019
Clean, modern apartment with great amenities and right near a walkable & fun area. A great option for a trip to Portland!

Apartment was quiet and clean, spacious and nicely decorated.
John M. Nov 2018
The home was very nice and clean, only a few minor things i would point out but nothing too big. Overall it was a perfect place for our convention weekend.
Michael T. Oct 2018
We enjoyed our quick stay here. The place was quaint and cozy and decorated very nicely. We also enjoyed the Chandelier Bar next door. It was small but we enjoyed the ambiance and service.
Dustin C. Oct 2018
Will stay here again when traveling to Portland for business.
Taylor M. Sep 2018
Love the easy access to everything whether walking or by Uber. Clean apartment with modern touches.
Andrew B. Aug 2018
This is a perfect location in Portland! Walking distance to a lot of great restaurants, and be sure to check out the Sak-é bar on the street level!!
Darya B. Aug 2018
Walking distance from everything! Quiet and restful night of sleep. The king bed is a little squeaky! But other then that, perfect
Terry E. Aug 2018
The unit was very clean and the building was secure and felt safe.
Kevin J. Jul 2018
Air Conditioned, quiet, clean. Really nothing to complain about here - the neighborhood is classic Portland. Love the tiny bar downstairs (Chandelier), and watching cyclists whizz by on Ankeny. Check in / Check out is super easy, as everything is electronic. Would definitely recommend for a larger group needing 3+ separate beds.
Ryan R. Jul 2018
Everything about this Condo was perfect for my long weekend in Portland. The layout and decor were aesthetically pleasing. The light through the big windows was wonderful. I loved the neighborhood and it was easy to walk to cute coffee shops and to Whole Foods. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Portland.

Perfect place for girls road biking weekend! Clean, comfortable, roomy, and walking distance to lots of great eats in Hawthorne area. Easy access to bike paths- a very bike friendly place to be!
Noel L. May 2018
Very well furnished. Wonderful beds and bedding. Fantastic soaking tubs in both bathrooms. Air conditioning worked very well, if left on while we were out. Great kitchen, new appliances. The microwave was so pretty inside we took photos of it! Wonderful washer and dryer. Street parking only, but we never had to park very far away. The neighborhood was completely safe, shaded, and adorable. Lots to do locally. Easy to get into the city, to the airport, and to local nurseries and shops. Perfectly working, huge elevator, very quiet even though it is on a main street. Fast and helpful customer service! My only wish is that they had more one bedroom condos for rent in this building. I will most definitely be BACK!!!!
Nancy V. May 2018
Beautiful place - looks like new! Very clean, spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Updated appliances, furnishings, lighting etc. Several ceiling fans and an AC unit with large windows to keep the place at a pleasant temperature. Nice walk to the Burnside bridge and the riverfront areas. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip !
Janette A. May 2018
Loved the space, it worked perfect for us. GPS took us to the address, but it took forever to actually find the entrance. Entrance is on the OTHER side of the block (think the street was ankeny). Key pad to get in is on the side of the main keypad as well.
Julia A. May 2018
This apartment is gorgeous! Full kitchen with everything we needed to cook (including reusable shopping bags for shopping and even gourmet coffee!) Loved the gas fireplace and proximity to voodoo doughnuts :)
Matthew D. Apr 2018
Nothing fancy but has everything you need. Mostly only used it to sleep but no complaints here.
