Ample room for 3 couples (as long as bunk beds are okay). Efficient, functional kitchen. Peekaboo view of the water. Quiet neighborhood. Handy to the ferry terminal.

The house was comfy, had everything we needed. It did get hot during the day with no air conditioning, but fans were available so that helped. Loved the board game/puzzle selection. The Navy fighter jets at night were cool to see, but rather loud as the house seemed to be in the direct flight path and they were flying until 11pm. All in all, a great stay.

This house was perfect for my birthday gathering with friends. Plenty of space for everyone to have a bed, private break out places, group gatherings, and a wonderful kitchen to cook in! Great views and a short walk to the coast. The master suite and bathroom (with clawfoot tub) was a-m-a-z-i-n-g (but hot).

The only downfalls were: it was very hot there (summertime) — they could use central air system or at least three more fans; the dining room chairs were old so should be replaced; it would be nice to have a folding table/chairs available for larger dinner gatherings since the table is small; better pots and pans (non-teflon).
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your opinions with us. We are thrilled you loved the home, the location and the relaxing space provided. While central AC is not common practice on the island, additional fans can certainly be accommodated. We appreciate your feedback regarding seating and dining areas and will review those suggestions more thoroughly. We understand that cooking utensils, etc can sometimes be a personal preference, we will take a look at the current supply and see if there are some that could use to be replaced. Again, thank you for the feedback as we continue to strive for better products and service here on Whidbey Island.

Great place for a family on 3 floors. If you don't mind venturing out there are the surrounding beaches, Fort Casey, Blue Fox Drive In and Coupeville. The pool was nice but not private when it and the private beach is shared by over 300 houses. It does have a few downsides that are manageable. There is not a lot of parking for multiple vehicles, very bright and warm with any sun is out and you may be surprised at the noise of the planes, which are also cool if you haven't seen them at close range.
