It was very quiet,
We were evacuated from the outer banks because of the Hurricane Dorian. We did some searching and found Lake Anna.
The house was beautiful, I just wished we had brought extra stuff for a lake house vacation. But we made do with what we had
Thank you

Terrific lakefront location - just around the corner from The Cove with a gigantic dock and plenty of space. A bit dated inside, but perfectly adequate for a week stay. We have stayed two years in a row now, and we would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved staying here. We are a family of six and everyone had a spot to retreat and enough space for wonderful family meals . The water is warm and the dock is huge! Kitchen was fully equipped and we are thinking about trying to get back here in October. I highly recommend staying here.

We'd give the preparation/condition of the home a 1 out of five. Arrived to find an infestation (dozens) of flies in all three bathrooms, Dish TV didn't work in any room, and shower stall in master bedroom was badly stained from a dripping shower head (we never used it). The 2nd bathroom has a tiny shower stall with a dangerously slick flooring (we had to put towels down to keep from slipping). The Vacasa property management company is located in Oregon and really needs to have a local representative check out their properties the day prior to each rental to avoid the kind of hassle that we went through. The Vacasa people were all very nice, and the temporary problems were eventually fixed, but you really don't want to encounter all that mess during your vacation.

The lake house itself is fine - nothing fancy, but who needs fancy at the lake. The main part of the house is very nice and has central air conditioning, but the other 1/3 with the air hockey and one bedroom just has a window AC unit in the bedroom that works but leaks. The dock is accessible by walking 50 yards down a dirt path through the yard. It would be impassible if wet. There should at least be mulch on the path. We'd give the house/grounds/dock a 3 out of five.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Kelley! We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your visit out to the lake. We apologize for the initial issues you encountered upon arrival, but we appreciated being notified of the oversights so that prompt action could be taken to address. We look forward to hosting you for a truly exceptional vacation experience in the future!

This house was perfect for our family. It was well stocked with everything we needed while at the lake. We had 4 children with us 16, 15, 13, & 1. There was something for everyone. The home had plenty of space. One bedroom we didn’t even touch. There was all kinds of games for the teens and even toys for the toddler also. There was plenty of life jackets & fishing poles. We spent most of our time on the dock fishing and hanging out watching the boats go by. Everyone had a chance to enjoy the canoe. & use the floats. The space was so quiet I think we may have seen the neighbor once. At night we relaxed by the fire pit & made s’mores. Great location. Convenient store was 7 minutes down the road and grocery store was 10. We will be back soon.

Lots of bedding available-1 king, 2 queens, 1 twin and 1 set of bunks. All the necessities to stay for a long weekend including towels/sheets/shampoo/liquid and bar soap/dishwasher soap and dish liquie/toilet paper and paper towels which was very nice not to have to bring or buy.
Beautiful dock to tie up our boat.

The kitchen, eating area and common room were great for a family gathering. Air hockey and darts in the second family room was great for the kids. All the beds were really comfy nice pillows and plenty of linen. The new dock was the best. Composite so no worry of splinters and super big so I wasn't worried about my 3 and 5 year old falling in the lake. The dock also has shade until about 3 pm so that was nice for fishing. Caught sunnies, perch, and bass. Nothing very big but enough action to keep a 5 year old boy busy! Lovely spot for swimming with deep water and no weeds. It is a steep walk down to the lake and the walk back up the hill to the house will get your heart pumping. It would not be an ideal spot for anyone elderly to get down to the water. The steepness of the property is why I rated this house a 4....otherwise pretty perfect.

Great stay, wish we stayed longer. We didn't use everything the house had to offer. We would definitely stay again.
