Patti E. Feb 2019
rented a beautiful house for $500 a night. we were there to set up and then attend a wedding for our niece (5 aunts and an uncle). In the morning we found out we did not have hot water so we called vacasa immediately and let them know we needed to be showered and ready to leave by 9:30am. We were told that we would be called back shortly, we had to call twice and still no response.
Because my husband is a mechanic and always has tools he was able to take the cover off the hot water heater and found the reset buttons. we got short lukewarm showers and made it and time.
That evening after the wedding we found that they had EMAILED us at 10:52am how to fix the heater ourselves
1. emailed, not called
2. "communication" was three hours too late
3. No tools per provided to fix the heater ourselves
4. paid $500 a night to fix the heater ourselves
5. not even a later departure time for compensation
6. this is the second time we have had this kind of treatment from vacasa and the second time no compensation. That is enough for me to not go back!!!!
