Upon first entering this house you are very impressed with it's clean state and breathtaking view. The master bed was firm but quite comfortable. The kitchen appliances were modern and of nice quality. Also, Carolina, the rental manager was very nice and quick to respond to my texts. Now for the bad: The front door wouldn't stay closed without engaging the lock, which was a nuisance when we wanted to go in and out quickly to tend to the grill. After a couple days of use, the master bathroom sink started emitting a horrible, unbearable smell. It appears the bathroom sinks have no P-traps in their design. The balconies have an incredible, beautiful view but there was only one, metal outdoor chair to sit on and it wasn't very comfortable. We stayed during a high wind season and it sounded like the roof was going to come off. With every gust of wind we heard loud metal crashing sounds all through each night. A lot of loud, relentless barking dogs our first night too. While the place was furnished, it lacked warmth and personality. It felt like a staged home that no one has ever lived in. Also, there weren't really any kitchen staples to cook with - like salt or cooking oil. I don't like to complain but I wish someone had told me these things before renting this place.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review. The arquitect design of this house is minimalistic. The emphasis of the design to showcase the incredible ocean view and nature of Costa Rica. We will consider your comment and add more details.

Very nice location on the top of the hill, good space enough for 6 maybe 8 people, the photos show exactly what you get. The only problem is to get to the parking lot on a small car, but you can use a public space on the side, which get that problem solved. I can really recommend to everybody.
