Got up every morning and had my cup of tea on the back porch, enjoying the Neighborhoods wildlife. When my husband got up we had coffee on the front porch with the glorious morning sun. My dog/baby girl meka loved sniffing the back yard and the walk to the beach every morning was great for us all.
The house was very comfortable, a home away from home.
Definitely love for our fall rides on the shining sea bike trail.
Oh and we brought my sister who had never been to the cape. What a great way to introduce her to this wonder.
Will be coming back next year! Meka agrees!

Our family of six had a great stay Everyone Loves Raymond.
There were a few maintenance issues that we ran into, such as the dryer vent not being hooked up (making the house humid and the smoke detectors sound off), a broken light switch and a couple of other little things. We called on the switch as we couldn’t turn the kitchen light off and the local Vacasa representative was friendly and responsive. She knew of the issue, advising they were working on getting someone to fix it. The other little things we just fixed. At first disappointed and the reason for four stars instead of 5, we ultimately think that since we rented so late in the season, it may have been a timing issue and not a reflection of quality of the rental.
The house has a great setup for a family vacation. We had six adults and a dog and had plenty of room. The home was clean and the living room furniture and beds were comfortable. The kitchen table is small for a home that invites 10, so gathering for family dinners or game night could have been challenging. However, I had read this in a review and brought a folding table and some extra chairs so it worked for us. (We also had three cars and no kids to pack for which made that possible.) I loved having the laundry machines right there on the main level. The kitchen had most everything you need. If you plan on cooking big meals, plan to bring a pot or two. They had a couple but not many. However, there’s the grill which worked great.
We didn’t need the downstairs space but it was setup nicely and would be a great kid hangout.
The outdoor spaces were our favorite! The yard is large, private and well kept, professional landscapers came during the week. After a day out, we gathered outside each day to relax, play games, read etc. I also love the front porch!!
Everything is close by, so when we went for ice cream one night, we decided to go back to the house and enjoy the porch. Nothing melted on the way!
We also loved that we could bring our dog with us. The area is very pet friendly with plenty of places to walk, including a dog park which isn’t far. We visited a local winery and brewery which were also pet friendly.
We had a fabulous time and would definitely stay again, and recommend to friends.

- Awesome location in quiet neighborhood but also convenient to town
- Great front and back patios to hang out
- Tons of beds and space to relax in the house
- Outdoor shower is the BEST!
- The only 2 downsides: 1.) No A/C, so it was a little toasty and airflow isn't great. 2.) Only 2 showers (including the outdoor one) and 2 bathrooms, so if you have a big group it can take some time for everyone to get ready.
Overall, we loved the house and would highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I found the home to be very clean, which is a pet peeve of ours, with plenty of room for the two of us to hang out. We also really enjoyed the outside space with 2 decks and an outdoor shower. We loved being able to bike everywhere within minutes: the beach, downtown, the bike path, etc. In fact our car never left the driveway. The view of the ocean during sunset, overlooking Vineyard Sound, is amazing. We also loved the fact that the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our entire stay.

This past August, we had the pleasure of staying at 76 Raymond Street in Falmouth for a week. For starters, the location, in a quiet residential neighborhood, was ideal. A lovely beach was a two-minute bike ride away (a ten-minute walk, or one-minute car ride). We went in the mornings and always found a parking spot, though spaces are limited. The beach was family friendly and not too crowded. By the same token, the house is also very close to plenty of grocery and restaurant options, the ferry landing, and Main Street. All very easy to bike or drive to. The house itself offered plenty of space for my wife and our two dogs; in fact, it could have easily accommodated two more couples. So we had plenty of room to spread out. The place is decorated with lots of personal and summery touches. There is a nice, big deck in the back with a new grill and a large backyard (which our dogs loved) and a front porch, ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring town. The owner, John, is a nice, personable guy and a fountain of local knowledge and information. He made several well-received recommendations, including the extensive bike path to Woods Hole. In all, we had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
