What’s not to love about this place? Beach access, beautiful view of the lake and mountains and conveniently located between a ton of great spots to visit.

When we showed up the heat was on and the place was warm and toasty. The lights were set perfectly and a mix of crooner and classical was playing in the main room and the rumpus room.

The house had everything you can imagine to make your stay comfy. The owners either really love coffee or want you to love coffee. There was a vintage Bialetti espresso maker, Nespresso maker, drip maker and a fantastic coffee grinder. Every single cooking implement you could imagine. If you’re staying here for a week it’s a home cooks paradise. Seriously, if you’re thinking to yourself, oh I better bring a can opener or this kind of pot/pan, don’t. Save your trunk space. It is a fully appointed kitchen. Everything is taken care of. They even have some of the most common slices you might want. Just bring your own oil, salt, pepper and any other spices you’re planning to cook with.

I baked a challah before we came up and we had family over for breakfast that were staying in an adjacent complex and made some killer French toast, eggs and bacon. We took away some ideas for new stuff to add to our kitchen. All of the kitchen inventory is high quality stuff. What a treat!

Is the place a little dated? Sure. But it’s a lake house. If you want soul sucking modern then stay in SF with your VC-purchased and renovated Victorian made to look like the inside of a server room.

The only negative I can think of is that the hot water ran out too quickly. Showers has to be short though I would estimate you could have a fifteen minute shower before it got like warm.

The house is very clean and well maintained. The lake view is fantastic and the lake beach is just a few steps away. Great floor plan for one or two families. Really enjoy it and will definitely come back!

We loved this place. It’s beautiful and has all the essentials for a perfect getaway.
We had issues with the internet initially but vacasa helped resolve it.
I would highly recommend this place.

It is an older property (furnishings, kitchen appliances) but is very clean and tidy. The view is amazing - absolute water front.

Unfortunately the power went out to part of the property and also heating in some bedrooms was a problem during our stay. I had to call Vacasa staff out 3 times during our 4 day stay.
WiFi connection was not stable - it was unavailable for most of the stay.
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review for us, Thomas. The power was a breaker issue that has been resolved, and the bedroom and hallway heat is getting replaced. The WiFi signal is occasionally weak here, and we apologize if this was a nuisance for you. We do hope to see you again!
