The home was spacious and clean. Plenty of bedrooms and baths for our group. Pets were allowed. Great towels and bed linen. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home

House was great for the big group of people that went very spacious and enough room for everyone. Aside that the outdoors in this location is great with an amazing view of the lake as well as being able to see a lot of wildlife roam around freely around the neighborhood.

We rented this home for a group of 8 adults and 7 kids for a lake weekend getaway. Positives - there were enough beds and rooms for the four families, and the views from the deck we're gorgeous. Negatives - we were quite disappointed that there was not any water at/near the private dock and thus no chance for us to enjoy the lake from the house. The water started maybe at least 100 feet from the dock. It doesn't look like there has been any water near the dock anytime recently as the dry land surrounding the dock was grown over with plants. Additionally when I tried to inquire twice if the lake level would be high enough to drive a boat to the dock (several weeks before the rental) - there was no response. Luckily we were able to rent a boat at the nearby marina. The property description did mention that lake levels could vary - it would be nice if they could mention at what lake level there is actually any water at the dock so people can plan accordingly. Also the wifi network and password provided were not current. Written instructions for checkout we're confusing as they instructed the renter to run the dishwasher at 10am (checkout time), but also said to turn the water supply to the house off upon leaving. Upstairs area did not seem up to code as the rail was quite low and spacing between rails was pretty wide.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Renee. We appreciate your feedback and apologize you had some disappointments. The lake level was surprisingly low this year, and we do apologize if we missed getting back to you about that. Spring is typically the best time for a good water level. The property manager will inspect your other concerns so we can ensure they are addressed.

Good stay. Great spot. Beautiful deer surrounding the property. It felt like we were out of Texas which was great because to actually get out of Texas is such a long drive. The view was nice! The house
Was nice.

The space was ample for 13 of us. The layout of the house was nice. The TV's in 3 rooms were unusable, but I think that contributed to keeping everyone from hiding away and separating. I would have liked to have been able to use the boat dock, but low lake levels in that cove prevented it's use. The biggest complaint is the trash. The cans were 1/2 full upon arrival and the trash was not picked up the entire stay. It was overflowing and all over the yard from the neighbors. We tried to keep ours in the house or on the porch so as not to add to the nasty trash mess.
Manager response:
Hi, Jennifer! Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your visit to Point Venture Palace. We have verified all of the TVs are working, and we do apologize the trash was not picked up prior to check-in. We will follow-up on this. We appreciate you staying with us!
