The name, Cosy Cabin, is accurate. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch watching the deer. Good amenities. Clean. The pinball machines are great! Kitchen has everything we needed to make a meal. Highly recommend this house.

Perfect getaway for our family in a quiet area on big boulder lake. Was right in the middle of what we were looking to do at Hickory Run State Park, Lake Harmony and Pocono Area

My friends and i rented this for a weekend. We only needed a place in the woods with space to cook, I wanted a hot tub, this place had TV and wifi and a bunch of games in the basement. Lots of fun, it was rainy so we didnt get to do a campfire, though there was a great fire pit and some wood for us. My favorite thing about this place, was there wasn't a bunch of move out instructions. So assuming i didnt mess it up and they charge me some crazy fee I don't know about yet, I was stoked to just grab our stuff, do some dishes, take the garbage out and be on our way I am pretty happy with the place, i think you will be too.

Where are the Poconos, PA?

This region spans 2,400 square miles in northeastern Pennsylvania. The word “Pocono” means “stream between two mountains” in the indiginous language of the Lenape. And that’s exactly what you’ll find—a plethora of wooded hills, rivers, lakes, and valleys just waiting to be explored. But don’t be fooled by the natural beauty. Our Pocono Mountains cabin rentals are only about two hours from Philadelphia and New York City.

Things to do in the Poconos, PA

There are a number of towns in the Poconos, each with their own unique scene of shopping, restaurants, and activities. Our Pocono Mountains vacation rentals are surrounded by dining choices, from low-key burger joints to high-end restaurants serving Americana dishes.

You’ll find just as many options when it comes to shopping. Antique stores, art galleries, farmers markets, gift shops, and familiar outlet stores are just a sampling of what you’ll find here. Shop ‘til you drop, and then return to your Pocono Mountains cabin rental for some relaxation. If you’re looking to really pamper yourself, book a massage or facial at the beautiful grounds of the French Manor Inn and Spa.

Be sure to sample the local wine, spirits, and craft beer scene as well. The pub at Barley Creek Brewing offers housemade beer and spirits, plus pub fare. Or you can stop for a pint and a slice of pizza at ShawneeCraft, where their motto, “True to nature, true to craft” shines in their craft ales.

When it’s time to head outside, there are so many ways to experience this beautiful region. Whitewater Challenges offers guided tours for whitewater rafting in the Lehigh River, as well as mountain biking, hiking, zip lining, and even paintball. In the winter, ski resorts are right at your fingertips for a day on the slopes. Multiple indoor water parks are open year-round, offering family-friendly fun even when it’s chilly outside.
