Condo was very clean and well furnished. Could use a few updates, but overall our stay was great. We love Destin Pointe and we love the friendly staff that they have.

Beach was being worked on by dredging up sand from ocean and deposited a short distance down beach. On the second day, there was an incredibly bad sulfur smell like rotten eggs blowing over us regularly. Also, churning the sand made the water very murky-not the turquoise waters we expect from Destin. We left the beach and drove to Henderson beach park, paid $6 for parking and took our own umbrella and chairs to the beach. Here were the turquoise waters. We drove there the next day as well. Disappointing that we were not told this beach work was going on.
The room was nice and comfortable in a beautiful setting. However, the other problem was that the internet had been disconnected with Cox.Late the next day, someone met me and checked the router. They had to add us to someone else’s WiFi and then the internet was very spotty for the next 3 days of our trip.
