You'll be conveniently located at the base of Aspen's Buttermilk Ski Area, which is perfect for beginners and families alike! Maroon Bells, one of the most photographed areas in the world and a must-see, is located only 11 miles south from your rental. There you can enjoy hiking, animal-spotting, cross-skiing or snowmobiling (during winter), and take in the dramatic views of Maroon Lake. If you and your group are more advanced skiers, you can always head over to Snowmass (six and a half miles away), which is the largest and most popular ski resort with more than 3,000 acres of ski terrain and 150 miles of intermediate and expert trails. Aspen Highlands is a great place for more advanced and expert skiers with dramatic routes like Golder Horn, Highland Bowl, and Olympic Bowl. It’s rarely crowded, something you won’t find very often here! Downtown Aspen boasts more than 100 exclusive restaurants and cafes.
