Unforgettable views in a beautiful cabin with private hot tub!

Never forget your trip to the Great Smoky Mountains when you stay at Forget Me Knot, offering a new hot tub and air conditioning as of October 2018. With the help of the hot tub, fireplace, and games at this Wears Valley resort family cabin, you'll have a new home away from home!

Located in Wears Valley Preserve Resort, this cabin puts you up close with all the beauty that the Great Smoky Mountains has to offer. You will be just minutes from the park, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood and Gatlinburg. Whether you're looking for horseback riding, zip lining, or shopping at the outlet malls, you'll find something great to try on your vacation.

This three-level cabin has both indoor and outdoor amenities you'll wish you had at home. A mountain-view deck is complete with a private hot tub and rocking chairs. Meanwhile, head inside for a warm, cozy atmosphere.

The living room has one of the home's five cable TVs and an electric fireplace to warm you up after a day on the slopes at Ober Gatlinburg. Draw up the blinds and gaze at the Smoky Mountains from the comfort of the couches, or have a movie marathon with a few of the home's 150 DVDs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, electric range, stainless steel refrigerator, and Keurig Coffee maker. Just add your favorite ingredients and whip up some delicious meals! Head upstairs after dinner to relax in the loft, or go downstairs for a fun night thanks to the board games, game consoles, and arcade cabinet.

Up in the loft, you'll find two spacious queen-size log beds, with two additional rooms offering a king and queen-size bed. The downstairs bathroom has a big Jacuzzi tub if you want to soak in the bubbles privately.

A washer/dryer will make it easy for you to wash up your wardrobe before packing, and WiFi will let you stay connected with folks at home.

During the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day) you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains while sitting poolside at the Honeysuckle Pool and Deli just a short drive away.

Book this Smoky Mountains vacation cabin for your small family getaway!

This cabin is unbelievably amazing! Three floors of luxury and comfort with a wonderful view of the Smoky Mountains. The spacious kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware and coffee pots (regular and Keurig) We really appreciated the washer & dryer too. Unfortunately we weren't smart enough to figure out the fancy grill!
We enjoyed coffee each morning on the deck watching the sunrise. In the evening we relaxed in the hot tub. The furnishings and decor are "elegantly rustic" - very comfortable.
It was just the two of us, but this cabin sleeps 8 (or 10 - I think the sofa on the lower level opens into a bed) We are already making plans to return with family and/or friends. The only negative comment I can make is that it's not ours!

Views and the house itself are great!! Bottom floor bathroom had some bad septic smells and the WiFi is hardly worth even trying. Don’t plan to telework unless you have data you can use.
Lisa W. Oct 2020
The house was very comfortable, clean, decorated nicely and the view has incredible! We enjoyed the hot tub, and playing Ms. Pac-Man. The location was conveniently accessible to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Foothills Parkway. We hope to stay here again in the future!

The cabin was very well put together. There was attention to details all over the place. The printed labels for instructions were everywhere and very handy. The cabin is spacious and the furniture is fairly new or renovated. The owners did a nice job with the accessories and amenities with high quality stuff (e.g. hot tub and grill). The place is very well equipped. Nice place and very nice views also.

Forget Me Knot Cabin has spectacular views from both the living room and the downstairs deck. The cabin contained everything we needed for a pleasant stay and we appreciated the quietness of the location.

Loved everything.

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! It looks just like the pictures. It is so spacious too, the kids loved the downstairs area. My fiancé especially liked the golf game.
We ate most of our meals at the cabin and we had everything needed. Pots, pans, utensils, measuring cups, mixing bowls, literally everything! We didn’t use the outdoor grill (it was too hot out)
The deck has amazing views of the mountains and the hot tub was enjoyed by our kids- again, too hot for me!
It was so nice having a washer and dryer! We went home with all clean clothes. They provided laundry pods and dishwasher packets but we picked up more at the store. Also ran out of toilet paper and paper towel- so we got some of that too.
The pool was great. We had lunch at the deli and they have good food.
I highly recommend the Forget Me Knot!!! We will be back!

Forget Me Knot Cabin was beautiful! Plenty of space for all 8 of us. The cabin has awesome views and is furnished very comfortably. While in a resort, we never felt crowded at all. About 25 minutes from town, and a little steep at times but not bad. Vacasa staff was very helpful and responded quickly to questions and concerns.

We absolutely loved the Forget Me Not cabin! Looking out at the glorious uninstructed beauty of the Smokey Mountains was inspirational. The cabin was wonderfully decorated and very comfortable as well as stocked with anything you could want or need. The kids enjoyed all the video games they could want. The peaceful location renews the soul. We can’t wait to get back and enjoy all this region has to offer!

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and accommodating. However, the sofa bed was broken and there were no sheets or pillowcases. The hot tub was also broken... no matter how long we waited the water didn’t get hot at all. There was also a spot of mold in the shower in downstairs bathroom and the toilet didn’t look like it had been thoroughly cleaned in a while. Lastly, there are 2 bathrooms in the cabin but the bathroom on the main floor is in the bedroom which means there isn’t a common bathroom for all guests. It’s not terrible but it was inconvenient. Despite these issues,my family enjoyed our stay.
Manager response:
We are sorry to see this guest encountered some inconveniences and wish they had contacted us during their visit so we could fix them. The sofa bed and hot tub have been taken care of, and we have followed-up with housekeeping on ensuring the sofa bed linens are available. Thank you!

The pool and the view of the mountains . The cabin was well decorated

2 beds not cleaned . And upstairs shower leaked into downstairs. And bathrooms are in bedrooms so little weird to walk into a room with people sleeping so you can use the bathroom.
Manager response:
We wish this guest had informed us of any cleanliness oversights during their stay so we could address them. We will follow-up with housekeeping and a post a note for our guests so they are aware of the need to tuck the shower curtain into the shower in order to prevent leaking. Thank you!

We have stayed at many cabins in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and this one did not disappoint! Every room was beautiful and inviting! It was very obvious that someone put a lot of thought and time into the decor! Everything was organized and labeled and so clean! We have had some bad experiences with cabins that were dirty and not well maintained at all but not this one! Every detail was cared for. Thanks so much to the owners for such a wonderful stay!
Melissa M. May 2018
We absolutely LOVED this cabin!! It was beautiful and well taken care of. You could tell someone spent time to make this cabin experience memorable for everyone. Very clean and well organized. I would definitely pick this cabin again.

Beautiful, well maintained property that makes you feel at home when you are away from home! We would definitely consider staying here again in the future!

Neat, nice, breath taking views

My family really enjoyed our short 2 night stop at Forget Me Knot Cabin. We were traveling through Tennessee from Illinois to North Carolina. The views from the cabin are truly breathtaking. We enjoyed hiking at nearby Laurel Falls, and took our teenage daughters horseback riding for the first time. We spent our evenings relaxing at the cabin playing video games and we watched a couple of movies from the dvd library. Our girls loved the loft bedroom. It was just the 4 of us but there was definitely enough space for a second family! It was great having the kitchen to cook dinners so we didn’t need to eat out every night. Should we find ourselves in the area again we would love another stay at Forget Me Knot.
Robert L. Mar 2018
The cabin was very nice and view was beautiful. Would stay here again.
Etsuko A. Jan 2018
We stayed just before Christmas for 3 nights.
We brought all food and drink, then the house has everything.
Great view, great space to read &!play games, relax after hiking and even some old fashion game table to remember old days.
We will be back for sure, thank you very much.
Melissa B. Dec 2017
House is clean and accommodating. At least 20 min drive to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, but that didn't hinder us. House is nicely decorated.
Please note that the pool table has been removed from the cabin. Having a pill table was one of our top filters when choosing a cabin.... it's a must for my family. Unfortunately, the one this house had was removed just before our stay. We were not updated on this change, and by the time i seem it I could not find another cabin available for the near Holiday.
We made due, just didn't get exactly what we were supposed to.
I emailed questions before reserving this home and I never received a response back.
I reserved anyway, online.
We actually wanted to reserve an extra 2 nights while we were on vacation, but due to previously unanswered emails we decided to not try as to avoid disappointment if we weren't acknowledged again.

Overall, the cabin is lovely, well stocked, Comfy beds, clean, spacious, gorgeous view! I certainly recommend it to others

We loved our stay! The location and the views were breathtaking!!

We stayed in thus cabin for 4 days. Everything is perfect! The views of the mountains are so incredible. The cabin is close to everything including the Great Smoky Mountain park. The area is surrounded by mountains and it is so beautiful and serene. The cabin has very nice full kitchen. The beds are so comfortable. We really enjoy the jet hot tub there. The cabin is very clean and inviting. We will definitely come back here next time. The cabin is just exactly like in the pictures! Thanks Vacasa for making our vacation so great!

Nice cabin. Nice view.
Tom W. Oct 2017
This was by far the cleanest and most inviting cabin we have stayed in. We love the Preserve and staying in this cabin just made it even more enjoyable. For a family, this easily sleeps 6 and could possibly sleep 8if you used the couch. We, quite simply, could not have asked for more from this cabin or rental experience! We will stay here each time we visit in the future because we cannot imagine a better stay.
Ben H. Oct 2017

Our family of six (2 adults, 4 college-age) had a wonderful time at Martin's Retreat. Far removed from the hubbub of Gaitlinburg (thank goodness!), we were up in the mountains and enjoyed the quiet and spectacular views. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub was used every single night. Also used the charcoal grill a few times. While there, we drove to the National Park each day (about 1/2 hour) and also travelled under an hour to zip lining, horseback riding and white water rafting. Hiked several great hikes too: Charlie's Bunion, Alum Cave and a few others. Nice home base to return to after a day of activity. You're about a 45-minute round trip to the grocery store so make sure you bring what you need (even condiments, with exception of salt/pepper, none left behind by other guests) including charcoal. We brought 5 meals prepped at home, so we enjoyed eating in. Highly recommend Martin's Retreat!

The area is nice and has wonderful view. You need to make sure you have brought all things you need from the market or store because there are no closer stores in the area. There nearest one is few miles away.
Griselle R. May 2017
The cabin is in a perfect location loved the view and the town sevierville had an amazing time thank you Vacasa.
Kamran M. Apr 2017
Great open floor plan. Beautiful views from the family room and balcony. However, there is a picture for a large open terrace with fireplace that is not from this cabin! This picture should be removed from the photo section as it is misleading. Overall nice cabin however.
Manager response:
The fireplace featured is part of the resort which is accessible to anyone staying here. We apologize for any confusion this picture may have caused our guests.
Rebekah S. Apr 2017
We love the Preserve Resort and this was a great cabin. It was larger than we thought it was going to be. Would for sure rent it again!
Kristin D. Mar 2017
Cabin was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was a little far out, but other than we had a great stay & would definitely go again.
