Two-level condo with valley views, shared pool, & deck - near skiing & boating!

Escape into the gorgeous mountains of Southwest Colorado at this lofty, one-bedroom condo, a comfortable getaway on the outskirts of Durango with views of the surrounding valley, a shared pool, and wonderful access to skiing, boating, and other outdoor adventures.

This two-level condo sits in the mountains just 18 miles north of downtown Durango, offering a cool respite in the summer and a skier's wonderland each winter. Here in San Juan National Forest, you'll be only four miles south of canoeing, kayaking, and fishing at Electra Lake, and eight miles south of the slopes and lifts of Purgatory Resort.

You'll feel relaxed and at ease as soon as you enter the living space, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame views of the surrounding woodlands. Leave your hiking shoes or ski boots in the entryway closet, settle in on the plush sofa and armchairs, and flip on the stereo system as you make yourself at home.

In the sunny summer months, you can open the sliding glass doors to relax with a novel or a newspaper on the private deck. Come wintertime, you can cozy up with your loved ones, watch Blu-ray and cable favorites on the flatscreen TV, and use the provided WiFi to post photos and monitor the mountain conditions. You'll also enjoy access to the Glacier Club on the world-class Valley course (ideally 30 days in advance).

Prepare homemade dinners with friends and family in the full kitchen, where you'll find basic appliances, a three-person bar counter for your helpers, and even a dishwasher to take care of the cleanup. Sit down to eat in the open dining area for four, and bring your coffee and hot chocolate outside to the deck.

Spend your days hiking in San Juan National Forest, skiing on the slopes of Purgatory, or boating with a view of the mountains at Electra Lake. Relax into the evening with a soak in the community hot tub, and leave your bathing suits and towels to spin in the private washer/dryer.

With a king bedroom, a queen size murphy bed in the living room, and two full bathrooms, this condo will accommodate four guests. Ascend the spiral staircase to reach the light-filled master suite, an open loft-style space with a king-size bed, an office nook, a flatscreen TV, and a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Back on the main floor, you'll find a comfortable queen-size Murphy bed in the living space and a second bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Whether you're a regular visitor to the mountains of Southwest Colorado or planning your very first adventure, you'll find activities for every season in and around Durango. Come wintertime, Purgatory offers 1,525 skiable acres, five terrain parks, and 94 trails that accommodate beginners (20 percent), intermediate-level skiers (45 percent), and experts (35 percent) alike.

In the sparkling summer months, you can ride Purgatory's Alpine Slide or zipline, test your skills on the ropes course, or launch a boat on the scenic shores of Electra Lake. Head into downtown Durango for the day to ride bikes along the Animas River or peruse the many charming shops, restaurants, and galleries.

Explore the beauty of Southwest Colorado in every season - reserve your stay at this Durango condo today!

We look forward to your stay with us. Please be advised that Tamarron Lodge charges a $25 + tax fee per unit per day for the use of their amenities including the pool, spa, and gym facilities. You will be responsible for paying this fee upon check in.

Great location and lots of room. Overall, good value for the Durango area.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Only complaint is that there could have been more coffee cups, but really? How big a deal is that? :)
Manager response:
We are glad you enjoyed your stay! We have passed along your suggestion to our local team! We hope to host you again soon.

We really enjoyed the mountain townhome. Plenty of space (3 adults), clean, excellent TV system and speakers. It's only 10 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes to Durango. Really nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The hot water was excellent, and the heater worked great.

Thank you for such a nice property, and we look forward to a return visit.

The condo was nice and quiet, perfect for my Mom and I on our trip.

The place was the perfect size for my little family and had everything we needed. We really appreciated how peaceful and quiet the little community was and my 2 year old loved the nearby indoor and outdoor pools that come with it. We would definitely stay here again.

But it doesn't seem to have air conditioning that works

We loved everything about this house. It is cosy, roomy and very comfortable. Bit hard to find!

This condo is perfect for a couple or a small family. Far enough away from town, but close enough for convenience.

The space was great, and the proximity to skiing was great.
Only complaints were that there was no trash can for the kitchen area, and the oven was old and very, very small.

This place was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. The place has lots of room and everything you need. The bathtubs and faucet fixtures in the bathrooms need to be updated. That is my only negative comment.

It was exactly what I needed to gather a group of friends for a weekend of skiing. It was spacious and located right between Purgatory Ski Resort and downtown Durango. I'd stay here again and would recommend this rental to others.

Condo was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice place in an excellent location. We appreciated the cleanliness and the kitchen/bath amenities. There were a few maintenance/procedural issues that made this a less than perfect experience this time. We've notified Vacasa. Hopefully they'll correct for future guests.

This is a beautiful, open condo with lots of natural light. We spent most of our time on the balcony but also appreciated the comfortable seating area and large TV. The master bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have the extra space thanks to the murphy bed. The grounds and property around the condo were beautiful - nice to walk and explore. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

The drive to Durango or Purgatory Mountain is worth the peaceful retreat. Even the hour or so watching birds from the deck over coffee each morning was amazing.
