Jamaica Beach Vacation Rentals

This house is well stocked with everything imaginable! It's perfect for big groups. We had 14 people from senior adults to a toddler and everything in between and plenty of space! More than enough beds ! I would definitely book again! We loved it!

I want to start by saying this was a mostly amazing trip, beautiful home, neighborhood, beach, and people - BUT if you are looking for a place to get rowdy, loud, or disrespectful DO IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. This home is surrounded by the most amazing people, we absolutely adore the neighbors and will definitely be back to the area to make more memories, but the neighborhood is tired of disrespectful and inconsiderate renters as they should be. When you rent a home even if it is for vacation you should take into consideration the ones around you who actually live there. Now that that's said and done, let's get to the actual review: I'm doing a 4 because it is a lovely place and one we would definitely stay in again, but there are things that definitely need to be addressed first before considering booking it through Vacasa - mainly the communication with them, which with my experience I would rate a ONE. VERY cute and well decorated, beautiful home, and we did love our stay once we actually got to start enjoying it -- The multiple TVs and games were wonderful for the kiddos... BUT everything from the beds to the seating is really firm and wasn't all that comfortable to sit/sleep on unfortunately. Also the pool table is super warped from the elements so don't expect a fair game if you play, and don't expect to fish from the house either due to the location on the canal and the water depth! Still gorgeous and fun though! There is a leak in the downstairs bathroom ceiling being caused by the bathroom above it, the bottom queen bedroom doorknob on the door leading to the deck is broken, the upstairs exterior electric keypad does not work and the lock box on the doorknob holding the physical keys malfunctions and sticks so it's extremely hard to get open, it needs replaced. These things were reported to maintenance so hopefully were fixed after our check out. They didn't affect our stay enough to say don't rent this place though, it's still a wonderful home! My only hesitation on referrals is the horrible communication we experienced. The wrong check in code was sent, so when we arrived we couldn't get in the house after driving 6 hours. Reached out to support for the accurate code and was sent a new one which opened the bottom portion of the house. Went upstairs to unlock the upper door to access that portion of the house and the code wouldn't work on the key pad, so contacted support again...this time during mid conversation of trying to get help to get inside the house they completely stopped responding to me. I called every number, texted, emailed and it took over an hour to get more help after the ghosting of the original agent. This was my biggest issue with our stay and unacceptable in my honest opinion. You don't just stop replying in the middle of helping someone get into their rental, especially when they have kids and elderly with them. They need to do way better on their communication!

We had a great weekend at this really cute house. The canal and sunset were so peaceful. The fish light brought in some big fish. The house is well maintained and supplied with everything we needed.
