Once again, HHI doesn't disappoint. Lake Forest unit 3315 was a great location. We have stayed at Lake Forest for years, and love the area. Our furst time in 3315. Our unit was as pictured and was clean. A few minor issues. Takes a little effort with the TV systems as there were no instructions. Please remember most people visiting have different set ups at home. The garbage cans were not put back in their area nor covered completely before we arrived and several pieces of garbage were around... not good with raccoons and such. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again. Staff at vacasa were easy to work with.

Love this place and we had a great time!

The house was very clean and well equipped. Beautiful views from deck. Would definitely stay here again.

This villa was exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean and everything worked. The location on the lagoon was spectacular with wildlife almost within arms reach. While it is not close to the beach, it was perfect for our early December vacation. We loved how close it is to the Forest Preserve, where we spent many hours walking the trails, sitting at the lakes' edges and watching birds. It was exactly what we were looking for for this trip. Highly recommended. We will be back.

This is a very nice unit. It was cleaned fairly well when we arrived. It has comfortable beds, reasonably new appliances and bathroom fixtures, and a functional grill (not a Weber, but still worked reasonably well). The non-stick pans were somewhat poor quality (food got stuck to them easily and attempts to clean could damage the non-stick surface). It has a nice view to a small pond from the back porch. It also has fairly good sound isolation - we could hear neighbors from the outside sometimes, but never inside the unit. The only other drawback - this unit is pretty far from the pool; so prepare for a long walk, or go there by car. This unit opens with the code lock, and Vacasa uses pretty long code, so make sure you record it on a device that you would always carry with you. The unit had extra pillows and bedding for the pull-out sofa, large TV in the living room area, as well as extra work table and a chair there, which made a nice study area.

Our family enjoyed a relaxing vacation at this beautifully updated retreat. The location was further than we normally stay but we are so glad we branched out! This end unit has the best views and deck on the lake and with being so close to the forest preserve, we saw so many animals including turtles, birds, and alligators. Perfect with the kids! Our kids said Epic stuffed crust! 😂

Everything was well presented and clean. We enjoyed being there

This is a lovely updated condo with a lovely view of a lagoon. The kitchen and bathrooms are nicely updated. The back deck is large and has a great view of the lagoon. We saw several alligators, birds and turtles. The bike path access for sea pines resort is just at the end of the side walk. There is a nice gas grill to use during your stay. I would suggest bringing toilet paper and garbage bags. You get 2 rolls for the week and only 2 bags for the week. The wifi password provided was not correct - we had to call to get that resolved. I wrote the correct one in the journal under the TV. We were not told that the pool was closed for the season when we booked. We spent 2 days attempting to get the code into the pool and found out 2 days before our trip ended that the pool is closed until April 1st. The location is near the front gate of seapines so bike riding is a little longer to the beach and harbor town than other locations. The location is very close to the stable at Sea pines. It was a lovely home and we enjoyed our stay.

Get quiet condo with a beautiful view and good location to get around to anything at Hilton Head

Stayed during the Christmas season. The unit was newly renovated, very clean and nicely appointed. It was very comfortable for my husband and I for a week of golf. The view of the lagoon and the daily alligator sunbathing a plus! Great location in Sea Pines. I would recommend having some nice wine, champagne and martini glasses, otherwise perfect for our needs.

The place was great and as described. There was a problem where we could not access the internet (new router).
They fixed it promptly. Two alligator visited the pond. The kitchen and bathrooms are newly redone and awesome.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condominium was exactly as the pictures showed. The location was close to everything and we enjoyed traveling everywhere via our bicycles. We had an initial problem with the grill but they replaced the grill with a new one within 24 hours. We will definitely come back again.

Nice condo with a serene view of the lagoon. As far from the beach as can be in Sea Pines but that reflects in its relatively cheaper rates.

The only critical feedback is on the quality of the mattress - it has outlived its life and the owners should look to replace it. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent vacation rental on Hilton Head Beach

Home was very clean and we had plenty of supplies. We loved the location tucked away so my granddaughter could ride her bike without cars around.

The location is great. At the very end of the villa’s. Beautiful view of the lagoon! We saw an alligator and many birds. The layout is great. Lot’s of light. The villa has been recently remodeled.

This home is very nice and our family really enjoyed our time here. I would recommend it to friends and family.

My only critique is that the A/C unit couldn't keep the unit cool during the day (at least not cool enough for us). It stayed about 76° during the day and would get down to 68° at night. (I know everyone has different preferences… we like to keep it about 70°). After a hot morning at the beach, it's no fun coming into a hot unit, especially if there are no ceiling fans. It was great at night, though. The skylight windows were nice, but those were the spaces that got the hottest (the kitchen and the master bath). The kitchen gets SUPER hot when cooking. We had an A/C tech come out the 2nd day, but nothing seemed to change. Ceiling fans in all the rooms would have made an enormous difference in keeping the space cool and would take some pressure off of the A/C unit. At the very least, having some floor fans available would have been nice.

Like I said, that is our only critique. Otherwise, we had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed the updated kitchen and appliances.

Our older kids loved sleeping on the pull out sofa in front of the big TV in the living room. We used the 2nd bedroom for our 18 month old in a pack and play.

The large deck was nice and we enjoyed seeing all the wildlife right in the backyard.

We had planned to grill out one night on the provided gas grill, but the grill needed cleaning, and we didn't have any cleaning brushes or grilling utensils.

We went swimming at the pool one day and that was very nice, too.

All in all, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay!
Manager response:
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and will look into getting fans for the unit. Thank you for choosing Vacasa!

The house was beautiful, clean and in an ideal location. It had everything we needed. My only advice would be to maybe bring some wasp spray. A lot of wasps around the front and back deck. Other than that my family and I would love to stay there again in the future.

We really enjoyed this condo in Lake Forest Villas. It's in a beautiful part of Hilton Head, Sea Pines, with great biking trails and nice access to the beach. Kitchen was great with nice appliances and plenty of pots/pans/utensils/dinnerware. Master bedroom and bath were great - very comfortable and nice bathroom shower/dual sinks. We didn't use the twin bed room but it would work well for kids - would be nice to have an option to make the twin beds into a queen bed or something in case 2 couples are staying there. 2nd bathroom is nice - note to management company- the door from the 2nd bath into the condo entry way sticks at the top and is really hard to open. Should be sanded down. Not a huge deal but would be nice for future renters.
Patio overlooking the lagoon is very nice and the lagoon area is beautiful. We did have a gator visitor one evening sunning himself on the grass by the lagoon. So cool to see him! Did not scare us as he was down by the water and just chilling out.

Enjoyed riding bikes around Sea Pines and exploring the area. We did not try out the pool in the complex but it looked nice.

Loved it

Unfortunately, upon our arrival the home was not clean. There was congealed food on the bottom of the dishwasher which led us to believe the dishes would not be clean either. Upon inspection the plates had pooled water and food remnants sitting on them in the cabinet. We did not feel safe eating off of anything until we washed everything on high heat in the dishwasher. There was caked on food on the refrigerator door handle, coffee still in the coffee pot, red stains on a throw blanket which we washed, the glass walls of the shower had not been wiped down, and the list goes on. Needless to say, we were incredibly upset since we are in the middle of a global pandemic. We certainlydidn’t want to spend our first few hours cleaning. The kitchen definitely had the bare minimum for meal preparation. The furniture had all been moved all around ...twin beds were pushed together, the accessories were all placed on top of the hutch in the family was not welcoming! Also, we don’t want to forget the ants that got into some of food. The best thing about this property was the view of the lagoon from the family room and deck. Thank goodness we had that. I tried contacting Vacasa upon our departure and it was a two hour wait time to complain. We vacation in Hilton Head several times a year and always use VRBO. This property will not be on our list for future stays.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Morgan. We apologize for the service issues impacting your visit. While our guest services team has experienced an unprecedented demand in light of the developing global health crisis, we are continuing to adapt and adjust our efforts to best meet the needs of our guests. We hope to host you for a great vacation in the future.

The location was perfect for bike riding - cut through the parking area to access the path with a straight shot over to the beach. Took about 10 mins to ride leisurely to the beach.
The bathrooms have been remodeled nicely - love the two heads in the master.
The bedding could use an update (new pillows would be good), but overall we enjoyed our stay at this cute villa.
Richard E. Aug 2019
Ideal 2 bedroom set up with plenty of space, well equipped kitchen. The rear deck overlooking the lagoon was a great place to relax after time on the nearby beach.

After a very uncomfortable and disappointing 2 days at another rental property - we had the pleasure of spending the balance of our vacation in this villa. It was roomy, well appointed, in excellent condition and had everything we needed to fully enjoy our stay. We loved the location overlooking the lagoon and adjacent to the Forest Preserve. We had a fantastic trip in spite of a rocky start and thank the owner for taking such good care of the property and HHI Vacations for helping us find this perfect replacement accommodation.
