QUIET CLEAN AND PET FRIENDLY.
Todd M. | Dec 2024
Celebrated my wife’s birthday here and we loved it!
Eduardo R. | Dec 2024
the house was clean and lovely but understocked for our party size (8) and stay length (4 days). only 1/2 a roll of paper towel, 3 rolls of toilet paper, 2 dishwasher pods, and no laundry detergent were provided. when we contacted the hosts to ask where these things were stored they informed us that we are responsible for buying more "once supplies are gone." I would stay again but I would not count on this place being ready for a large group. bring your own stuff.

Where are our Big Bear City vacation rentals?

At 6,700 feet above sea level, the idyllic mountain resort town of Big Bear lies at the heart of the San Bernardino National Forest less than 100 miles east of Hollywood. Ringed by several peaks including Butler, Gold Mountain, and Sugarloaf, the area surrounding our Big Bear City cabins offers four seasons of fun and excitement for all ages. The drive from L.A. takes you along a scenic route with breathtaking views as you wind your way along CA-18.

Things to do near your Big Bear rental

Our Big Bear cabin rentals offer endless activities, regardless of the time of year. While many make the trip up to ski Bear Mountain (three miles away) and Snow Summit (eight miles away), there are plenty of other winter activities, including snowboarding, sledding, tubing, and snowshoeing.

When things warm up a bit, take a boat out and drop your line into Big Bear Lake, or take a guided paddlewheel tour across the water. Hike the many trails that crisscross the mountains, or soar above the treetops on a zip line. And while you’re out exploring, keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of one of our many resident bald eagles.

Newly updated Big Bear Village (now sporting outdoor amenities like heated sidewalks, firepits, seating walls, and modern lighting) offers a variety of alpine-styled shops and boutiques, as well as several dining and entertainment options. Every Tuesday, starting in the spring, shop for local produce at the Big Bear Farmers' Market and take it back to your cabin to prepare healthy meals in your very own kitchen. In the fall, don’t miss the fun of Oktoberfest, an annual event in Big Bear since 1971.

You’re sure to enjoy all that our Big Bear City vacation rentals have to offer, from our cozy, mountaintop cottages or luxury lodges, regardless of whether the snow is falling on the slopes or the fish are biting out in the lake.
