We have stayed in quite a few places in Sea Pines this was by far the best ever!!!! We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is beautifully decorated and the view is amazing. We loved the proximity to South Beach Marina. The pool at the complex was perfect for us--we had it to ourselves and it kept the kids busy. Walking to the beach was very short--nice when you have young kids and lots of stuff to carry. You will love this property!!

Great location close to the beach and the Salty Dog. The unit is located on the South end of HHI so there is not a lot of traffic.

For many years we stayed in Palmetto Dunes. We loved everything about Palmetto Dunes but the up and down with the high rise Ocean front Condo's and very long walks to the beach with young children was making me not want another beach vacation. So, I decided to look around and try something different and I am super glad we found 1467! We fell in love right away with the unit feeling more like a home than a condo. We loved the ground floor access to the beach walkway. We could be on the beach within one minute which is an extreme bonus if you have children under 4 who will need to use the bathroom! So beach access is great. But there is not much beach unless you walk farther down where you will round the bend" and get those spanning ocean views. That being said we actually found ourselves enjoying this beach more than Palmetto Dunes. We saw dolphins multiple times during the day jet ski's dolphin boat tours and parasailing. Daufuskie Island is across the way which give your eyes something else to look at. It was interesting to be on the beach and challenging to make our sand castles before the tide came in and washed it all away. I would say between 4 and 5 pm each day your beach time is up due to the tide coming in. But be daring like us and many others who stayed out to the bitter end each day and had a lot of fun. Another bonus is being so close to Salty Dog Cafe and Marina. It is a short walk which you can make any time of the day. It is crowded but being so close you can go at your own pace and early enough to beat huge night time crowds. There is also a Trolly stop in front of Salty Dog which will take you to several locations within Sea Pines. This is a huge benefit to let someone else drive so you can enjoy yourself more. But don't be afraid you'll never get to the other parts of the island which you've come to love. We wouldn't miss Kilwin's Ice Cream and our Nourish store visit for anything. The pool area is small but I had hoped being closer to the beach we'd not be at the pool as much and this proved true. We had large family gatherings from other units take up most of the pool but everyone was very nice and respectful to make sure our kids had some space too. However if you want a huge pool with lots of sundeck space this is not the spot for you.The Condo itself had everything we needed. Since we stay at the end of the season there were a few issues dealing with the bathrooms but Resort Rentals were responsive and came to fix right away. For me this unit and location allowed our family to spend more time relaxing and enjoying the island than we ever had before.

We changed to this location at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised with how well it worked for our family. The kitchen was spacious and actually had a place to store our food. The second living area on the ground floor was the perfect man cave for my son. The bedrooms were comfortable and had seating areas in each. We could have privacy or spend time together as we chose. We were close to the beach. Being on the Sound we saw lots of dolphins, even a small shark and a couple of stingrays. We were facing west so had beautiful sunsets as well. We also were in walking distance of South Beach Marina. The pool was small but not crowded. The drawbacks are you are not on the ocean so you do not get the endless water view. There is not really any beach at high tide and you can't get in or out without going up and down stairs. I would stay there again.
