This retreat is conveniently located on Amber Lake Road, formerly known as Squaw Lake Road. You'll have access to the lake from the dock, including a swim platform and a boat landing. Fish for largemouth bass, musky, or northern pike in the warmer months, and ice fish during the winter. There are beautiful hiking trails, snowshoe trails, and other adventures to be had in the adjacent Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, and Minocqua Winter Park is just down the road. The Minocqua area has all the fun activities a family could ask for, including miniature golf, a zoo, horseback riding, zip-lining, restaurants, a distillery, and a brewery. There is also a pay-to-play disc golf course right next door!
