This home was very nice. There were a few small things that needed to be fixed. But, all in all it was perfect for us.

Loved the looks and comfort of the home! Beautiful scenery, had all anyone could need! Only disappointment is that the jets in the bedroom jacuzzi don't work! Hot tub was so nice to get into every evening after a bust day exploring!

The secludedness.

Nice rustic home. Wood paneling and bear-themed décor set the tone for a nice family vacation.

Overall this was a great place to stay! Any concerns we had were quickly resolved.

This cabin gave us a private family getaway with the convenience of being close to everything.

First impression is the place is a lot smaller than the photos show. The upstairs bathroom is almost unusable if you are above average size. The shower and the toilet. The shower sprays directly in your face and there is no room to avoid it because it is tiny like you would find in an RV. The toilet is between two walls that are so tight you have to stand up to wipe. Lol. The room where the pool table is at, is so small you cant actually play pool. And the pool table was something my son really wanted. And this trip was for his 16th birthday. The decks definitely in need of some work. The upper deck railing is sketchy and patched together. The hot tub is okay. The place was clean and smelled good. There are a lot less supplies in the kitchen then they lead you to believe. As soon as we checked in we started to make dinner, my wife yells that the sink is leaking. I looked under the sink and the drain pipe to the P trap was off. So I had to get under the sink and do plumbing right off the bat. So that was aggravating considering what I paid to stay here. Overall the place is just okay. The location is great, the views are good. But the place itself is a little lack luster. I would look at another cabin unless this just all you can find available.
Manager response:
Hi Kevin!

We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you during your time with us. We will follow up with the appropriate parties regarding your experience. We hope for another opportunity to host you again soon, for a much more enjoyable stay!

I loved the view it was spectacular especially at night!

I enjoyed where the place is in the mountains. It's got a nice feel to it and for the most part you have privacy. I would recommend updating the pool table room and making sure it's easy for people to be able to watch the tv's without having to call someone. I loved the views that you have from the cabin. I would definitely stay there again.

I love it I would do again

It's the climb! This hidden gem reminds you that sometimes you need to slow down and take it all in. Enjoy the scenic drive up to the home, try your best to arrive during daylight so you can enjoy the views. Don't let the steep driveway intimidate or slow you down... Keep going and prepare yourself for a true mountain retreat.

The accommodations were great. The cabin was very quaint and cozy and we all enjoyed the stay. It was very clean upon arrival and well stocked with the supplies we were told to expect.
There were six of us staying, and much to our dismay, their was only one fork in the silverware drawer (and five spoons). Luckily, we had packed some camping supplies in case we wanted to camp on the way home, so we had some plastic forks to use.
The view would be fabulous but is mostly blocked by high trees. It would be fabulous if the trees could be trimmed to allow a better view.
It had been raining the day of our arrival, and my son was not able to get his rear wheel drive vehicle up the very steep driveway. Although our wheels did some spinning, my husband was able to get our front wheel drive to the top of the driveway.
Two of the days black bears came right up to the cabin (one day one was even on the deck), which was the highlight of the trip for my young grandsons.

The cabin was clean, comfortable and equipment with towels, shampoo, conditioner, detergent, dish soap, kitchen towels and cooking utensils! Everything was as expected and more! And yes the driveway is steep, so take your time going up and don’t attempt to find the house at night.

The house fills very isolated even though it is in a neighborhood on the hillside. Easy access to Gatlinburg. Great for our family of 5. Having 2 king beds was great! Not 5 stars because of minor items.
Amanda S.Jul 2020
The cabin was very nice and the views of the city were amazing. Heads up they are not lying about the steep driveway!! We will definitely be booking this cabin/house again in the future.

There are many bear around this cabin. One even got in my car😳. I don’t think is be comfortable taking my dogs or small children here.
Great spot - driveway is very steep and the beautiful views would be spectacular if the trees were cut down a bit.

Secluded yet convenient to get downtown. Loved the cabin location and it was also well-kept and clean when we arrived. Would rent this cabin again in the future!
Corey V.Jun 2020
There was a hole in the deck right outside of the door leading to the hot tub. $400 a night and 4 young children? That was very disappointing. Had to use the furniture to cover the hole. The outside deck was disgusting. Half the furniture was ripped and just needed to be thrown out.
Manager response:
Hi, Corey! We appreciate you staying with us and are sorry to read you were not fully happy with your experience. The property manager is taking care of the deck and patio furniture with the owner. Thank you!

The view from this cabin is ideal! Loved watching New Years fireworks from here. The cabin is perfect!
Amanda G.Aug 2019
This was a nice cabin. However, there were a few things that could have made the stay a little nicer. I love the fact that there was a coffee pot and filters. However, there was no coffee. This was something I had to go out and buy. Having a box or two of kleenexes around would have been nice. Third, there was a big rip in the sheets on the bed downstairs.
Manager response:
We're very sorry for the inconvenience during your stay. This issue occurred under a previous management company. Our local teams are working with that company to learn from feedback and fix any issues. We just started managing this unit and would love for you to try staying with Vacasa in the future to experience our world class service.
