Yes we enjoyed our stay, Where the Map Ends. We were able to unplug for the weekend and leisurely take in all the sites and events the blue ridge mountains had to offer. We'll be back for sure!

Sit on the porch swing, take in a deep breath and let the cares of the world slip away. This was an absolutely beautiful, quiet and peaceful spot to land for a much needed rest.. If that's what you are looking for then look no further because THIS IS THE SPOT! We loved it and plan to return.

Cute cabin, had everything we needed. No hot water in the kitchen but it was repaired the following day while we were out exploring. Nice getaway.

The cabin was beautiful. Inside was nice except the blinds needed to be replaced as a few are torn and anyone could walk on porch and look in. The blind in master had a broken piece, someone could look in. Back porch hadn't been cleaned in a year or so. Coffee brewer needs cleaned with with vinegar. Drawer with forks and knives was dirty. I cleaned this drawer. Other than these items it was nice. Too many remote controls for TV. I didn't look to see if fan blades needed to be cleaned. Grass needed to be cut. I would prefer master bedroom be on main floor not downstairs. That's it.
Manager response:
We are so glad you stayed with us, Phyllis. The coffee maker and kitchen drawers have been deep cleaned, and the property manager is working with the homeowner to address the blinds and grass. Thank you!

Loved the balcony and deck! Loved the house! Wasn't happy when we found out there was no river view/ access, anything water related. We booked this cabin for the water. No water. That should probably be taken out of the description. Neighbors are super close and the internet is terrible.
Manager response:
We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding this listing. My boyfriend and I booked this cabin for a peaceful weekend away to relax and recharge and enjoy some time together. The cabin is beautiful, clean, modern, has plenty of space but still has that cozy feel, the king bed is super comfortable, and the little amenities such as books, dvds, and brochures for local attractions make it really sweet and homely. The WiFi is understandably slow being up in the mountains, this wasn’t an issue as we didn’t book a cabin to be on the internet all the time.
We absolutely loved the cabin and our time there, our only issue is with the pricing given the check out time. It cost a little over $400 for our two night stay, yet the earliest check in is 4pm and latest check out is 10am, making it a little unreasonable to charge $400 for not even 48 hours. Having said that, we knew this before we booked the cabin, it wasn’t a surprise - just something to consider when booking your own trip.

Beautiful location, long rough gravel road to get there. The bottom bedroom was great the upstairs bedroom was very narrow to her up wrap around stairs. No river access from this location.

We loved our stay here, it was very clean and homey. However, there were a lot of flies inside the house that we could not get rid of. It was very challenging. Otherwise it was perfect!
Manager response:
Hi Dayana, thank you for your feedback. We are so sorry that flies got into the house. We do wish that you would have called us during your visit so that we could have assisted in clearing them out. Our guest service agents are available 24 hours a day and if any issues arise we encourage guests to let us know so that we can assist. We hope to host you again soon.

We have a great experience while spending 3 nights we got to enjoy everything and it was a wonderful experience.

About all you can ask for in a weekend cabin getaway for the price. Cozy and all the necessary amenities (appreciate the firewood). A reasonable drive to Blue Ridge. Not as much privacy as the pictures would suggest.

Our biggest issue was that none of the dishes were clean when we arrived. We found plenty of food on the plates but especially were turned off by lipstick marks on the cups. Sheets/towels did not seem fresh either. Appliances/furniture was outdated; the bed was small, noisy, and not comfy for 2. Personally I would not consider returning but wouldn't necessarily not recommend it for the right party.
Manager response:
Hi Joseph, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us! We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement regarding some specific cleanliness issues with the home. We will pass your feedback to our housekeeping team for future consideration. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

The area is secluded and quiet yet close enough to small towns with a great atmosphere. We had a great week in the cabin the amenities were perfect.

This was absolutely perfect in every way. Beautiful relaxing getaway that is close to town. Clean, comfy, and quiet. Will def be back!

The cabin was charming, secluded, warm and inviting. We did this getaway for 30th wedding anniversary to have time alone away from every day life. Robert & Cathy Plaster

This well appointed cabin was so relaxing and gave us the getaway that we really needed. It was very clean and spacious and everything was exactly how it was described. It is a bit of a drive down a dirt road, but that made it even more secluded. With two decks, an upper and a lower, there was plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors. It was truly one of the most peaceful, restful vacations I have ever had.
Tiffany R. Aug 2020
The cabin was a great stay for our family. There was plenty of space for us and the pup. We loved spending time around the fire pit and the table on the balcony. We appreciated the family games and dvds for evenings we were just chilling. We also enjoyed all of the scenery and the friendly neighbors and little towns near there. It was great to see deer in the forest as well!
Federico F. Aug 2020
Love how the cabin was very deep in the forest which was super quiet at night and able to enjoy plenty of nature. We were able to see multiple times deer around the cabin. It could have a bit more cleaning in the rooms and appliances, but other than that it was perfect.
Rosa C. Aug 2020
We found the toilet clogged, we called Vacasa and they send the repair man immediately.
WiFi is very slow, the cabin needs to be cleaned very well outside and inside, I found some greasy pots inside to the cabinets, dirty sheets and towels inside to the bag in the closet.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Rosa. We apologize if the cleanliness of the home left something to be desired, and we will follow-up with our housekeeping team to see that future cleans are completed to our standards. We hope to host you again soon.
Teresa H. Jun 2020

My husband and I traveled to the cabin to escape Hurricane Dorian. The quaint, relaxing atmosphere was PERFECT to keep my mind off what was happening at home. The cabin offers everything you could ever want or need, and the area is perfect for getting out to explore. We went hiking, canoeing, apple picking, shopping, and ate some great local food. We loved our stay, and would highly recommend this cabin.

Nice romantic cabin situated in Mineral Bluff, Georgia. Short ride to either Murphy, N.C. or to Blue Ridge, Ga. Nicely done cabin. Interior is spot on.
