We chose Bougie Bear because it was a great combination of the views, space, and amenities we were looking for. It not only lived up to our expectations but exceeded them! It also had some things we didn’t even know we should look for but loved, like the game table with plenty of comfy chairs for everyone and the unique ramp/fenced play area and gates on the porches for dogs! It has a perfect “cabin” atmosphere, the kitchen is well-stocked, beds and linens are comfortable, and the swings and rockers on the deck are great for enjoying the view, among many other positives. There was a mixup with scheduling of maintenance/sealing of the recently paved driveway while we were there but we were very impressed with the handling of it and accommodations made by Vacasa staff and the owner, so we all came to a solution that worked out great for everyone—it turned what could have been a negative into a positive! We would definitely rent Bougie Bear cabin again!

We love the cabin & enjoyed the fire pit making hot dogs & s’mores with our grandchildren. Our family had a great time. Will be coming back.

the cabin was great; the hot tub was clean. When we went to use the microwave and there were two plates full of food left from past guest, it smelt awful, that would be my only complaint about this cabin, other than that the house was overall clean.
