1st Floor Welcoming Condo At Waterscape! Children's Playground, 2 Hot Tubs

“Summertime Blues B108” is a two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath ground-floor condo and is one of the most convenient condos in the Waterscape Resort! Summertime Blues has the best of both worlds with its easy access to parking and all of the ground-floor amenities. With Summertime Blues being a ground-floor retreat, this means no more waiting to take the elevator or having to take the stairs! The parking lot is conveniently located right out of the front door, which puts your vehicle just steps away. The patio has rare privacy and even a small personal green area. It is also only a child-proof gate away from the lazy river, pools, and the Fudpuckers poolside bar and grill!

The condominium's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and beautifully tiled floors. All dishes, cooking utensils, and bakeware are provided to complete and serve meals. There is also a Keurig coffee pot! The dining area has a large table with seating for eight people, and the bar area has two stools for additional seating. Both full bathrooms feature large garden soaking tubs and huge walk-in showers. The half bathroom is situated off of the main living area near the bunk room.

Things to know:
Beach service is included from March until October.
DVD rentals included. This DVD rental is located on the second floor.

The owners of this condo have done a wonderful job making this feel light and truly beachy. The colors are bright and the decor screams, “your on vacation!” It had everything we needed, including two different types of coffee makers, two additional boogie boards, a bunch of beach pails and toys for the kids, and even a few extra chairs.

It was clean and well maintained and when I did need something, the resort was great at attending to our needs; new batteries in a remote, closet doors need to be placed back on the tracks, and a locking issue with one of the exterior doors was addressed. The only thing that never was resolved was the fact that we could not lock the bedroom doors as the pins in the door handles were missing. The resort only had 1 of the 3 missing pins so at least we were able to lock the bathroom!

This was the second time we have stayed in this particular unit and it’s proximity to the pool and beach without elevators is key! We would absolutely pick this unit to stay in again. Thanks for some wonderful memories!!

We had a great time! This was our second trip to Waterscape and we are already talking about our next one! It was great to have a ground floor unit this time. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. There were a few things that need to be replaced/fixed. I did not ask them to fix them during our stay because we didn’t want to have someone in our condo while we were out enjoying our vacation. I am sure they would have come if I would have asked. The unit needs a new can opener (the manual and electric ones were both awful), the dishwasher bottom rack is missing a wheel and the whole dishwasher itself is not mounted so it falls forward when you pull the racks out (be careful!), the shower doors are both hard to get all the way closed at the bottom, the faucet on one of the tubs is very loose and feels like it’s about to fall off, the living room rug and the patio furniture are both very worn and need to be replaced. The facilities are great and the only issue we had was that there are multiple grills that won’t light unless you ask the pool attendant for a lighter. Overall, we had a great time and none of these issues ruined our vacation, but with the prices to stay going up all of these things should be addressed.

We loved the location of the unit. The unit itself could use some TLC. One shower door would not close and the other was very difficult. The water heater was making some questionable noises. The washer/dryer left some marks on our clothing. The unit was not very clean upon arrival. We arrived late and did not leave the condo our first night. However, there was sand in two of the beds (in one bed it was at the top under the pillows), This made us question whether the linens were changed. Also after walking barefoot on the floors, the bottoms of our feet were black. Also, this condo was lacking in some basic kitchen things you would expect like a cookie sheet, a salad bowl, storage containers, plastic cups for kids, etc. For the price of this rental I would expect things to be better.

There was more than enough room in this condo for our family of 6. Our youngest 2 loved staying in the little bunk bedroom. And we loved the huge master shower…such a nice convenience. And the condo was in a perfect location.

This was our fourth time at waterscape, and the worst condo we have seen. Multiple things were broken: main door hinge, master bathroom shower door wouldn’t close, both closet doors were off track. There were multiple burn out lightbulbs, TV remotes didn’t work, and there were cockroaches and spiders. The dishwasher did not work well at all. We had to hand wash everything. The patio was not cleaned before we arrived. We will NOT be returning to waterscape. The good things: great location, beds were comfortable, and the furniture was nice (table for 8 was great).

We liked the apartment first floor- great decor rooms and furniture . I will recommend to change the coffee maker since was old and broke( was no problem for me cause I got coffee from Starbucks)) and housekeeper to do a deeper cleaning. ( we found rice in our kitchen table).
We will come back again
So 5 stars for the place, the other things I mentioned can easily be replaced .
