WHAT’S NEARBY

Aspen is considered by many as one of the best spots and the perfect vacation destination in every season for outdoor enthusiasts and families alike–you'll get to experience that the moment you stop at this charming town. The Inn is located at the base of Aspen's Buttermilk Ski Area, which offers 21 miles of stress-free trails and is ideal for children and people willing to learn how to ski. More advanced skiers will have the time of their lives at Snowmass (six miles) and Aspen Highlands (less than three miles away); both of them are perfect for more advanced skiers and snowboarders. Snowmass is Aspen’s largest and most popular ski area and offers more than 3,000 acres of skiable terrain and 150 miles of trails. Whereas Aspen Highlands boasts dramatic routes like Golder Horn, Highland Bowl, and Olympic Bowl. It’s rarely crowded, something you won’t find very often here! Maroon Bells! These two peaks are a favorite spot for hikers as it boasts dramatic and unparalleled views and scenery you won’t find anywhere. It’s one of the most photographed sites in North America and you can do so much more than just take pictures. Picnicking and hiking are among the most popular activities you can try here.

Modern and very clean, enjoyed the stay

Room was nice and clean but the AC turned off in the middle of the night, on one of the hottest nights of the year thus far (was high 80s), which made it impossible to sleep. We tried everything we could to get it back on with no luck, so gave up and opened the windows but then there was a lot of street noise. And then in the morning it finally decided to turn on, which was great, but didn’t make up for not sleeping at all.

Great location at the base of Buttermilk Mountain with large well decorated lobby and fireplace, great on site restaurant, new lockers for ski and snowboard equipment storage etc. At this time they are still in the midst of renovating the rooms so there is some annoyance from construction materials laying out in the halls and things being a bit dusty and such. However my room was nicely decorated with a comfortable bed. The multi-directional wall mounted TV was a real plus. My only complaint is that the owner’s closet left very little room for hang up clothes storage and there was no iron/board in the room. However, there is a six drawer dresser for clothes. Also the balconies are still in rough shape. Overall though a great experience and this place is going to be a great find and super value when remodeling is complete.
Manager response:
Hi, Russell! We appreciate you taking the time to review us and apologize for the renovations. They are now complete. Hopefully you get to come back and enjoy the peaceful setting.

Loved the room we stayed and the food from Home team restaurant is just fabulous. We will definitely visit again.

The suite has been recently and tastefully renovated with top of the line items. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The room was well appointed. While the kitchen did not have utensils, I would not expect someone to be cooking there so understand completely. The suite is outfitted for someone to store or heat ready made items. The only suggestion I would make it that a combination safe be provided in the room. Wonderful location and suite. I would definitely stay there again.

Just a place to sleep while spending time in Aspen, room is decorated with a modern touch, it would be appreciated if the room had some kitchen utensils so that a family can have breakfast or a meal in the room. There was only few forks and spoons.
No mountain view from the balcony which we were looking forward to as this property is located at Butter mountain, instead we had a view of the parking lot and storage for bikes. Entrance had a unwelcoming smell, but it disappeared in the morning. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, we did use their free bus to the Gondola which was nice.

Hotel was nice, employee at front desk was not super friendly. Everything else was great.
