Very cozy home. Great place to stay with the family if you are looking for a nice, no-frills experience; Just a clean, comfy stay. Centrally located, just a few minute ride to everything we needed.

The house has an open floor plan and lots of space for a large family. Quiet neighborhood

Property management company was no help. We didn’t have heat. We didn’t have hot water. There is a 2ft hole in the ceiling of the lower bathroom. Upstairs shower and tub doesn’t function. All of the tv remote batteries were dead. The sliding doors are a death trap. Just don’t book this house.
Manager response:
We're very sorry to read you were so unhappy, Veronica. We did inform every incoming guest of the issue with the upstairs shower which caused the damage to the ceiling in the lower bathroom. This is actively being worked on. We do wish you had let us know about your other issues during your stay so we could have assisted you. Hopefully the compensation provided after receiving your review helps convey our sincere apologies. Thanks!

We booked this house to attend a wedding, and we had high hopes but unfortunately our stay wasn't as great as it could have been due to a few very fixable issues. First, I was never sent any information about what kinds of amenities would be available at the house. We weren't sure if there would be beach towels, coffee, salt and pepper, toiletries, etc. I asked for information ahead of time and was told that check in instructions would be sent the morning of our check in - which is normally fine, but when you're traveling from out of town, it's hard to know what to bring when you don't get any information until the morning of travel! Even so, none of that information was disclosed. When we got there, the power was going in and out, which we totally understand was happening across the entire island, but we didn't get a heads up at all, so it wasn't until we spoke to other wedding guests that we learned this was normal. However - we were so grateful that the house had plenty of fans to keep us cool! Thank you for those! The house was also really buggy - we had spiders crawling on our beds and mosquitos biting us all night long. All of this would have been sort of livable, but the main issue was the downstairs bathroom had a huge hole in the ceiling, and would literally rain rain down water into the bathroom when the upstairs shower was going. The entire bathroom floor was soaked almost immediately. The upstairs bathroom shower barely drained, and the tile configuration was extremely slippery - so both bathrooms were such slippery safety hazards that it was almost a disaster. I communicated with Vacasa on this topic several times, and while everyone was extremely polite, they didn't offer any solutions until I simply asked for more towels to put down on the floor. They brought a few beach towels - which was nice, but they smelled really bad so they could really only be used for the ground, but due to their smell and the standing water, the bathrooms ended up having a slight sour water smell by the end of our very short stay. Putting all this together - we were pretty disappointed in our stay, but felt that this house could have been amazing, had the communication and care just been better. I really hate to leave a bad review, but I think these issues could be solved fairly easily and this really could be an excellent spot to stay. You are right between Edgartown and Oak Bluff, and the house has a lot of great light and space for small group like ours.
Manager response:
Emily, we are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. Please know you can always reach out to our 24-hour customer service line for any questions about the available amenities and provided supplies. We have addressed your concerns with our property manager and confirm traps have been installed for bugs. We sincerely apologize for the upstairs bathroom being unavailable. Unfortunately, the shower hasn't been repaired yet and we have alerted every guest that is coming to the home. The shower won't be repaired until October. We apologize for any missteps, as it is never our intention to disappoint. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future.

The house was excellent! Big and clean and close enough to everything without being in a crowded neighborhood. The property management was professional and friendly. We would definitely return!
