Incredible Views of the Ocean & Mt. Baker w/ Deck, Fireplace, Jetted Tub & WiFi!

This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Oak Harbor is everything you're looking for in a Whidbey Island escape, offering an iconic Pacific Northwest setting with spectacular, unobstructed views of Dugualla Bay and the snow-capped peak of Mt. Baker. The windows strategically placed throughout the house allow you to take in a commanding view of the water whether you're laying in bed, reclining on the sofas in the living room, preparing dinner in the open kitchen, or soaking in the master bathroom's jetted bathtub at the end of the day.

The living space is open and full of sunlight, with an airy great room that brings together the living room, the kitchen, and the dining room. Use stainless steel appliances to whip up stacks of pancakes each morning, sit down to eat at the spacious table or the breakfast bar, and bring your coffee outside to the deck to breathe in the fresh ocean air. You'll be able to walk to the community beach to collect stones and watch for local otters, with a gas grill and a dining set waiting outside on the deck for your return. Toss the day's clothes in the washer/dryer and settle in in the living room to read, watch a movie, or peer through the telescope in search of passing orcas. At night, you'll have your choice of three bedrooms, including a master suite with its own gas fireplace, sliding doors that lead outside to the deck, and a bathroom with both a shower and a jetted tub with a view of the water. Two more bedrooms have a queen-size bed and a double bed, respectively, with a second full bathroom off the hallway.

What's nearby:
This home sits just above the shores of Dugualla Bay, a short distance off Route 20 on the east side of Whidbey Island. You'll be immediately north of Dugualla State Park, which includes a handful of hiking trails that meander along the shoreline and through alder groves and wetlands, and six miles southeast of Deception Pass State Park, perhaps the crown jewel of the Washington state park system with its iconic bridge and gorgeous trails and beaches. The bustling center of downtown Oak Harbor, where you can find everything from groceries to fantastic bagels at Whidbey Island Bagel Factory, is six miles southwest, while Naval Air Station Whidbey Island is only four miles west.

You must be 21 years or older to rent this property.

Loved the view and location of the house.

The house is very spacious with large windows in the living room. The bedding is super comfortable and they got great size bedrooms. This house is also well equipped. They got everything we need even a wine cooler and they have plenty of extra towels. The view is spectacular. The only thing that wasn't pefect was the duvet covers but they have extra clean ones so we changed them up.

We really enjoy our stay and would recommend this place to everyone.

Location, view, spaciousness, quiet. Orca!

House was very clean and perfectly sized for multi-gen family of 5. Large kitchen and a great table for playing games. Fantastic views. We didn’t fully pay attention in the description about the jets, which there are several daily. But honestly it wasn’t that bad and they didn’t go overnight or on the weekend. I would recommend this house to others.

Super clean home! Spectacular views. Comfortable furniture, beds, ect. Loved the spaciousness and high ceilings. Delightful watching deer, rabbits, and other wildlife from the deck and large windows. Would stay again!

The view was amazing!! Jacuzzi tub was perfect end to full day of activities in and around island. Home very cozy, comfortable and inviting. Only negative was not being able to figure out how to turn on fireplace in master bedroom. In out opinion (three young at heart seniors), very deserving of five star.

The view, the spaciousness, the quiet(except Navy planes, but enjoyed them also). If you want a real getaway, rent Orca House.

What a nice property. We thoroughly enjoyed the view, the living space, and the location of this house on Whidbey Island. We plan to come back in the future!

The view was stellar and the house is immaculate and gorgeous. Everything was well maintained, up to date and tastefully decorated. In fact, this would be the ideal home if it weren’t so close to Ault Field. I was here 4 days and only one was super-loud, with fighter jets landing overhead most of the day (from 9am to 6pm). The other days, when I was here (which was not a lot) the noise was more distant and manageable.

The only other negative had nothing to do with the home, but rather the trouble I had with the management company’s (Vacasa) identification process. I received an email the night before check-in which I figured was the usual VRBO info on accessing the property. Instead it was a message from Vacasa saying I needed to go online and confirm my ID and if I didn’t then my reservation would be cancelled. The online process failed so I called the assistance number. After more than 20 minutes on the phone, and a litany of silly questions (like had I changed addresses recently), I was finally granted access. I have no idea what the problem was as I’ve rented from VRBO many times and none of my personal info has changed in decades.
