Beautiful details in the building, designing and decorating of this castle. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed here to hike and enjoy the fall colors. The castle is amazing and Norman the owner was very helpful. We loved the dragon cake.

Our family reunion was made absolutely perfect at this breathtaking castle. We were all in awe to see the authentic medieval art that lived in this magical home. The kindness that was bestowed by Norm, the owner, was unmatched by any other experience we’ve ever had. We loved the beautiful fresh flowers left for us on the table and the whimsical and yummy dragon cake lovingly left in the fridge. On top of it all we were awestruck by the generous and informative tour of Norm’s dungeon where we saw more artifacts than we’ve seen in museums and learned more about history than a college class. Our family had the best vacation ever and made the most unique treasured memories we could have asked for. For those considering a trip here, we’d highly recommend you try a medieval themed dinner party like we did complete with attire, menu, and music. It really was so much fun! Thanks Norm for everything and give sweet beautiful Lulu dog a hug for us :)

This will go down as one of our most memorable family vacations ever. The decor in the castle was awesome! We had the opportunity to meet the owner who is very entertaining. The kitchen is loaded with tons of cooking appliances as well as condiments . I would highly recommend a stay at the castle

We were very impressed by all the extra efforts of our host to give us an immersive neo medieval experience. The museum quality art and decor were splendid. The location gave us the best of Sweitzer Mountain while being close to Sandpoint below. Great trip!

We stayed in the castle for eight days and loved every moment! The space is so fun and unique it makes you feel like medieval royalty - but with modern amenities. The fire-breathing dragon was a great touch.

In addition to the castle-themed flair, the wifi was very fast, the hot tub was gorgeous, and the kitchen had every type of utensil or cooking equipment you might need to host a feast. Ski In ski out was also very convenient.

Went on a ski trip with 8 total people and loved the stay at the castle. Kitchen had every possible utensil and pot/pan you could think of. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Our host, Norman, was a delight, going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing I feel needs to be clarified is that from this location you can easily ski into the main ski area, but there is no reasonable way to ski back into cabin without a decent walk back up. Loved our stay and would be happy to stay again.

Such a unique place to stay! The home is beautiful. Norman, the owner, and his wife were very welcoming. They greeted us with flowers and a beautiful dragon cake on the day we arrived! They were readily available and gave helpful tips about the area. Norman also let us take a quick tour of the dungeon which houses a collection of ancient artifacts. A must stay!
