I was pleasantly surprised with this rental- the pictures don’t do it justice. The building’s carts to get our luggage and supplies to and from the car were very helpful. Kitchen was fully stocked with all hardware you need for cooking and all appliances appeared to be recently updated (last 3 years or less?). The couch, recliner, and ocean-side bedroom bed were comfy (not sure about the room by the front door because our kids stayed there). Nice having two bathrooms. Plenty of linens and even extra blankets for cozying up on the couch. While blackout curtains are installed throughout, I’d still recommend an eye mask if you need real dark at night- the room by the front door has light come in all night from the VERY BRIGHT safety lights in the hallways, and ocean-side will be bright if there’s a lightning storm.
Thankfully minimal things out and about for a newly crawling infant or toddler to grab and destroy- very kid friendly once we moved some books and jars of shells up and out of the way.
Otherwise, ridiculously convenient- great easy beach access, super close to the state park, and walking distance to Sea N Suds and other restaurants. While the shared lobby and pool area were very utilitarian, sparse, and well-used- we spent most of our time in the room or on the beach so it didn’t impact our stay negatively.
I sincerely hope we can come back sooner than later!
