Perfect cozy cottage. Surpassed expectations. Super well equipped kitchen. Wonderful selection of classic movies! We’ll be back!!

I would give this 5 stars for location and vibe -- 3 stars for some of the issues we encountered - so nets out to 4. Could easily be a strong 5 - but they'll need to invest some $ to get it up to the quality bar you'd expect. I'd definitely stay here again, assuming they address some of the issues. Positives: We totally loved the chill cottage nature of the property -- we had young kids with us - and were able to watch them from the deck as they explored the beach, looked at shells, etc. So location and setup was awesome. Kitchen was well-stocked, enough shared space also good. 2x of the bedrooms were quite small. Negatives: I) one bathroom for group of 6 was fine, but obviously not ideal II) deferred maintenance -- it is clear that this property has been "maintained" pretty well for a number of years -- however there have clearly been few updates made. For example: 1) when we arrived, we discovered the single shower did not work (the mechanical pull to reroute the water from bath to shower head wasn't working). So we needed to call that in - and the local team addressed the following day. 2) Additionally, the hot tub is quite old, and randomly lost a BUNCH of water overnight (water level dropped significantly -- and we just refilled with a hose - not ideal. 3) the BBQ wasn't working/getting hot enough - and they had a tech come out. 4) the clothing washer/dryer is ancient -- and the washer did not do a good job/left weird residue all over our dark clothes 5) the day we were leaving the, again very old, garage door opener stopped working -- so we just manually shut it. It was on our way out, so didn't negatively affect us, but yet another example.
