Everything was as advertised. It is a home away from home.

A large home in a lovely, secluded meadow surrounded by thick forest. The big beautiful windows allowed us to watch deer coming into the yard to graze. The check in and out processes were easy and our hosts were very prompt in keeping us up to date on these procedures. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend in which we attended a family member's wedding. The only down side was that we couldn't stay longer, both to explore the Port Angeles and Sequim areas and also to relax in this home.

This place is so peaceful, and we loved getting to spend a few days here. The views of the mountains and the water (and Canada) are unbeatable, including sunrise and sunset. Port Angeles and Dungeness Spit are visible. There were lots of birds and chipmunks to watch, and on our last day we even had a deer visitor. Nicely isolated, but not far from anything you could need.
