Well, we rented a cabin with a hot tub and were impressed! The hot tub was huge and newer. Hot as hell with a view of a mountainous gorge. A well-appointed kitchen and huge house and sparkling clean.

It was fine. Bathrooms and kitchen were updated. But not pictured: the old, stinky, gross carpet in the living room and bedrooms. We were surprised since the photos made it seem like a more modern spot.
Otherwise we really enjoyed the hot tub and the view. We liked the Vacasa details. And the games and toys!

We lucked out with a few days during the week to spend in Big Bear with our two girls and mother-in-law who was visiting for the week.

We arrived to a spacious and flat parking spot that leads you down to the front entrance. The first thing you’ll notice is the view. It’s spectacular!

The house had everything you needed. The kitchen was fully-stocked with cooking supplies and a great big fridge with a water filtration system to refill your water bottles as well as an outdoor grill on the main deck.

We especially appreciated the two big bathrooms and separate (and spacious) sleeping quarters.

We spent much of our time on the main deck overlooking the trees and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets at their beautiful high top patio table.

We didn’t use the jacuzzi, but it was big and beautiful and on the other side of the main deck so again, the views were available.

One more thing that made this stay awesome. You’re in a cul de sac that leads to two really cool trails. We didn’t have to jump in a car to enjoy the outdoors!

We’d definitely stay there again. Especially during the winter as you’re just a few minutes from the slopes!

Wow, just wow. This darling home ticked all of our boxes! Such a lovely cozy home nestled in the hills just steps from Bear Mountain and lovely views from every deck. We were looking for a last minute snow getaway for spring break and were lucky enough to find this charmer. It's less than 1/2 mile to the slopes (my kids walked home the first day while my husband and I did a few last runs on the mountain), the hot tub on the main deck is a perfect way to watch the sunset at the end of the day, and every bed is lush with fluffy, cozy blankets and pillows. The kitchen and both bathrooms seemed to have been newly renovated and were very well stocked with all the essentials! Everyone loved that the kids essentially had their own apartment downstairs with their own bathroom, heater, and smart tv (so we didn't have to listen to their youtube videos, lol) while the grown ups could watch some Superstore on the TV in the living room, kicking back on the reclining couches like proper old fogies :)
We also really appreciated the game selection, Rummikub is a family favorite! All in all, 10/10 will definitely be back again!
