This house was perfect for a weekend getaway with a group of friends. There was so much room for all of us, and having so many bathrooms was perfect! It was an easy walk to the beach too. We absolutely enjoyed our time here.

Every year we visit Port Aransas. Typically, we stay near downtown. However, this year we decided to try something different and stayed further down the island. The biggest difference experienced staying here was with the beach itself. There were stretches of open beach (see photo). We were blown away how private the beach seemed compared to the overcrowding near downtown. There is a boardwalk available for walking to the beach, and you can drive your car to the beach access road about a mile away as we did for hauling our gear (e.g. tents, chairs, coolers). Now for the house itself.

This house was a perfect fit for our family. There were 12 of us. Both our immediate and extended family converged here for our annual beach vacation. The furniture and décor was pleasant and modern but not overly nice to where I was nervous one of our younger kids would damage anything. As for the older kids (teenagers and early twenties) the bottom floor setup was perfect. It is like its own apartment, separated from the top floors, including a bathroom/shower, washer and dryer, and full-size fridge. All the parents and younger kids (1 – 10 years old) stayed on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There were PLENTY of bathrooms and showers to accommodate everyone. Other nice amenities that we took notice of were the numerous water hoses conveniently stationed around the house for easy access to spray off sand from the beach; keypad door lock for entry and exit; a fenced-in station for unloading our beach gear; gas grill available for grilling hotdogs and burgers; utensils, cocktail glasses, pots and pans, plates and cups, all in full supply; and a pool conveniently on the way back from the beach that allowed us to bribe the kids to leave the ocean and head in. We will definitely stay here again.

My family and I stayed 4 nights at this beautiful beach house! The kids had so much fun in the pool, on the beach, and even taking a quick drive over the bridge to visit the USS Lexington. We were pleasantly surprised by how stocked the house with everything that we were used to at home - coffee pot, Keurig, tons of pots, pans, bowls, cups, utensils, etc. It was nice not having to spend a ton of money going out to eat. The beds were cozy and clean, and having so many showers was a LIFESAVER because of how many times the kids were running down to the beach. There is a good hose down by the beach that you can use to rinse off the sand too. There’s also a hose on the top and bottom decks at the house to wash off which was very helpful with the kids. We will absolutely be booking this house again and can’t say enough good things about how cozy and perfect it was for a family beach trip!

The house was lovely. It fit our family of 9 very comfortably. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the kitchen well stocked.

We didn’t have much time this summer so we decided on a quick get away to Port A. We found this house last minute and it was perfect for our family and friends ( 8 in our group ). This house was perfectly located, just outside of Port A. It was close enough to town but far enough to escape the crowds. In the mornings it’s only a short stroll to the beach which make it easy to get back to house for lunch and if the beach ain’t your thing, there was a very nice community pool. My personal favorite was the amazing deck that is seen in the pics. The deck was a great place to sip some coffee and soak up the sunrise. It was also a great gathering area in the evenings where we enjoyed a few bottles of Cabernet and good conversation. This house comes fully loaded with all you need for a great vacation, just bring your bathing suit and sunscreen! We will be back soon!
