Recent Bear Lake vacation rental reviews

We came to beautiful Bear Lake to celebrate our 28th anniversary with some of our children and friends. This new home was the perfect place for us. The kids took over the upstairs and left the adults at peace on the main level. The kids were entertained by and fascinated with the authentic full-size pinball machine (high score 7 million!). They loved having a big screen TV, pinball, foosball and pool all to themselves. We enjoyed the 6-man hot tub and the included beach cruiser bicycles. The home is right on the bike path that follows the lake. My spouse loved having the new grocery store and Beans and Brew coffee shop literally next door. We were within walking distance of a great Coffee & Crepes breakfast place and several burger and shake joint. This home is beautiful with a large kitchen we loved to cook in that seats 18 for a meal. It is ideally located across from the marina and next to grocery shop, gas, hardware store and restaurants. The six bedrooms are large and comfy beds. The kids loved taking over the bunk room. We will be back for more wonderful family memories!

You can’t help but love the view from nearly every room in this home. Amazing seeing beautiful sunrises over the lake each day. The cabin also has so much space to entertain large groups of friends and family.

Incredible house with incredible views! Close to everything you need. Spacious rooms with everything you could ask for. We spent most of our time on the huge deck overlooking the lake and enjoying the gorgeous views, all while catching up with siblings that we haven’t seen for several years. It was the perfect place to make this happen. This is the perfect place for a large family reunion or business retreat. You will not be sorry! Thanks for the hospitality and the memories!

Where is Bear Lake?

Due north and east of the Great Salt Lake, the smaller (but magnificent) Bear Lake is split in half by the border of Utah and Idaho. At about 125 miles from Salt Lake City, it’s a convenient weekend getaway for many Utahns. Since the lake’s shore extends into Idaho, our Bear Lake vacation rentals and cabins might be in either state.

Things to do in Bear Lake

If you’re here for the lake, rent a boat and put it in the water at First Point boat ramp to get the aquatic fun started. Renting a four-wheeler is another exciting way to enjoy the beautiful Bear Lake scenery. Garden City, the Utah town on the lake’s shore, boasts a lovely bike trail, fishing pond, town center, and more. The area is known for its raspberries, and if you’re lucky enough to visit during the first week of August, you’ll get to enjoy the annual Raspberry Days festival. Winter visitors can easily access the ski slopes at Beaver Mountain, just 14 miles west.

The natural beauty of Bear Lake is truly stunning, and the surrounding area offers plenty of rentals to suit every visitor’s taste. Take your pick of our Bear Lake cabin rentals, and let the adventure begin.
