Recent Bear Lake guest reviews

We had family come in from all over the country and couldn't have picked a better home! The home is spacious and well laid out with large gathering spaces on both floors and an extra bonus is the bunk room for the kids. It has plenty of space for them to hang out on the large bean bag, play ping pong, or watch TV. The kitchen is nicely laid out and well stocked. It also has a large outside lawn that can be used for games or hanging out. The hot tub is well placed and easy to get in and out. You are also within walking distance to the grocery and hardware stores if you need anything quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Bear Lake vacation home! The house was immaculately clean upon arrival and clearly very well cared for. It was extremely well equipped with everything we could possibly need, making our stay effortless and comfortable. The furnishings were cozy and inviting, and the beds were especially comfortable. Best of all were the stunning views—waking up to Bear Lake each day was unforgettable. This home truly exceeded our expectations, and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Staying at this Bear Lake cabin was an absolute dream. The moment we walked in, we were blown away by the panoramic lake views from every single room. The home is beautifully built, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The outdoor spaces were a highlight—morning breakfast on the spacious deck, evenings in the private hot tub overlooking the mountains, and plenty of cozy seating to soak in the scenery. Inside, the cabin felt both luxurious and welcoming. The living room with a gas fireplace was perfect for relaxing, and the game room kept everyone entertained. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, making meals easy for a large group. With so many beds and plenty of room to spread out, our group of adults and kids felt completely at home. We loved how close we were to local activities and shops, yet still felt tucked away in our own peaceful retreat. This cabin truly offers the best of both worlds—high‑end comfort and unbeatable natural beauty. We left feeling refreshed, connected, and already talking about when we can come back. A perfect place for a family getaway. It truly felt like the perfect mix of luxury and nature. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and already wishing we had booked a longer stay.

Where is Bear Lake?

Due north and east of the Great Salt Lake, the smaller (but magnificent) Bear Lake is split in half by the border of Utah and Idaho. At about 125 miles from Salt Lake City, it’s a convenient weekend getaway for many Utahns. Since the lake’s shore extends into Idaho, our Bear Lake vacation rentals and cabins might be in either state.

Things to do in Bear Lake

If you’re here for the lake, rent a boat and put it in the water at First Point boat ramp to get the aquatic fun started. Renting a four-wheeler is another exciting way to enjoy the beautiful Bear Lake scenery. Garden City, the Utah town on the lake’s shore, boasts a lovely bike trail, fishing pond, town center, and more. The area is known for its raspberries, and if you’re lucky enough to visit during the first week of August, you’ll get to enjoy the annual Raspberry Days festival. Winter visitors can easily access the ski slopes at Beaver Mountain, just 14 miles west.

The natural beauty of Bear Lake is truly stunning, and the surrounding area offers plenty of rentals to suit every visitor’s taste. Take your pick of our Bear Lake cabin rentals, and let the adventure begin.
