I can't say enough good things about this rental. Arrival instructions were clear, the house was spotlessly clean on arrival and the property is well maintained. A previous guest had mentioned a few items needing replacement and the owner had new items sent during our stay. There is plenty of room to spread out or to hang together as a family. We played pool, jumped off the dock, roasted marshmallows at the firepit, snuggled in the living room for movie night, and took the kayaks out to explore the lake. All the covered outdoor spaces are great for rainy days also. The home was well stocked with little extras in case something was forgotten. While this home is pet friendly, we did not notice any pet odor or pet hair anywhere. It is a bit of a drive from a grocery store, so plan accordingly.
I needed to reach out to the owner for a special request prior to our trip, and then my son lost a set of car keys after the trip that I reached out about as well. In both instances, the owner was promptly responsive, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond in handling each need.
This was our first stay on Lake Sinclair, but we loved it so much that we will be looking for reasons to come book this house again! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed this home so much the first time that we ended up staying for another month—and that should say everything. This 4-bedroom house in Sparta continues to be an excellent choice for our work trips to the area. It’s consistently spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it easy to settle in for a longer stay.
The porch is still one of our favorite spots for a quiet morning coffee, and the fire pit makes evenings a great way to unwind after work. The proximity to Lake Sinclair is a huge plus—we took advantage of the nearby boat launch whenever we had free time, and the peaceful surroundings really make a difference when you’re balancing work and downtime.
The WiFi remained reliable throughout our extended stay, which was essential for us, and the kitchen is fully equipped for anything you might need. Everything about this place makes it feel more like a home than a rental.
Once again, highly recommend for anyone working in the area or looking for a relaxing, longer-term stay—still far better than a hotel, and we’d gladly come back again.
