Hampton Colony, North Topsail Beach Rentals

Loved our stay in this home and at North Topsail Beach. Vacasa was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and great customer service. This was my first time working with Vacasa so I was skeptical as well about it being a newer company that I had never heard of, but thanks to the person who left their first impression review of Vacasa, which gave me the courage to give them a try and I’m glad I did. So I’m also vouching for Vacasa I had a great experience. The only reason I’m not giving the home 5 stars is because unfortunately it wasn’t completely as functional and convenient as I would have hoped but I’ll explain below somethings you need to note. So a few FYIs about the home: 1. There are a lot of stairs! Yes there’s an elevator but you still have to walk up a flight of stairs onto the porch of the house, and another half flight to get to the elevator. So if you have elderly people in your party or someone who is handicapped or needs a wheelchair, unfortunately this lovely home won’t do. - layout of the home. The two rooms with the bunk beds where (which is the kids room mostly for the travelers) is located on the 2nd level in the front of the house, which the front of the house faces the street and it’s the entry way of the home. So soon as you walk into the home and walk up that half flight of stares from the door, the kids rooms are right there! I wasn’t okay with the safety factor of that bc all of the other rooms (adult rooms) are on the back side of the home and on the upper 3rd and 4th levels. So if you’re traveling with kids, just know your kids will be on the floor closest to the entry of the home. - also according to the pics it looks like this home is maybe one of 4 on the row. The pics appear as tho the homes are spaced out apart from each other, however thats not so. The homes are a lot closer to each other than they appear in the pics. So those are just some fellow traveler fyis. Other than that everything else was pretty exceptional to my standard and my standard is high lol. The home was very well cleaned and maintained.
