The oceanfront location, views and short walkway to the beach were wonderful. A great location. The house itself, with the exception of the upper deck, felt solid and with better soundproofing than some of these large beach homes. The upper deck is not tied to the house and sways significantly with even a small child stepping out onto the deck. Slightly small kitchen for large groups that plan to cook. The kitchen stock needs review. The garbage disposal was clogged as were 2 of the showers on the second floor. Even though reported to Vacasa on 2 separate days, no actual workman came to fix the issues. The house was relatively clean, missing one set of sheets with prompt response to remedy that situation on the second day. The towel situation is ridiculous. Each person receives 1 towel, 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel. Period. No more will be provided. Prepare to do laundry on your vacation or pack your own towels. There were no kitchen dishcloths. Compared to other rentals I have done, the towel situation was the most frustrating, along with lack of repair crew to fix the shower and kitchen problems, especially when you consider the cost to rent. As with all these houses, there is never enough hooks or towel bars and surprisingly, not every bathroom had a trash can. Overall, I would rent this house again, but be better informed for the comfort needs of my other invited guests.
