Recent Hololani Resort - Lahaina Maui guest reviews

The location was great, the view was good in general. The view does include the view of other balconies but the ocean view was great and the resort was quiet. The unit needs improvement and maintenance. There were several issues, one of which we had to call about and another we asked maintenance to take care of while he was there (he did). The 800# in the app was disconnected but included an alternate number and the response was pretty quick. The main issue was a necessary quick fix (loose & broken plastic on toilet seat broke making the seat dangerous for my elderly mother) and the other issue was the sliders being extremely difficult to open and one screen that kept popping off the track. He fixed the difficulty in opening them and we had no issues with him completing the fix after we had left for the day. (trustworthy & helpful maintenance was very nice) The washing machine leaked onto the kitchen floor. We did not notice that until the night before checking out so I just left a note on the machine and a towel on the floor in front of it so housekeeping wouldn't slip. All in all the stay was nice but for the price, these little issues (and several minor ones I don't have time to mention) really do need to be addressed. It wouldn't take much and had they all been addressed I would have had no problem leaving 5 stars across the board.

This property is perfect for whale watching! The lanai faces the ocean and is typically in the shade. Several pairs of binoculars were available and we saw some amazing displays of whales jumping, tail slapping, and breaching early January). The condo was very clean, the kitchen is fully equipped, and furniture and decor nicely done. WiFi is great, people friendly, and BBQs and pool area very nice. Great parking for you rental car. Highly recommend!

These buildings are situated in such a way that the rooms have a great view, especially some more than others of course. Wide open and clean and light Interiors with just an awesome view was so fun. Loved hearing the ocean waves all night no need for air-conditioning. Wish the barbecue and pool was open longer.
