Recent Keuka Lake vacation rental reviews

We stayed here for a week long family vacation, and could not be happier with the stay! The house is clean and deceptively large, with plenty of room for everyone. The furnishings are new and well suited to the home; creating a relaxing ambiance. The house is very near to Penn Yan which made any trips, shopping or dining a breeze. It sits on part of the wine trail which makes for convenient day trips to the wineries. The house has plenty of parking and a large yard. The elevated deck overlooks the dock and lake. There is a shaded patio area near the water, and a fire pit where we built many fires. The dock was great for docking and storing our rental boat. The house was well appointed with everything needed to cook (if that is your preference), with plenty of tables and seating both inside and outdoors. There is a nice game room with foosball, an electronic dart board and video arcade useful when we needed a break from the water. We saw one comment about it being too hot in the upper bedroom, but there are fans and an air conditioning unit up there so it was quite comfortable; and the place the kids liked hanging out. Overall we had a wonderful week and are looking forward to returning again!

This charming home was relaxing the minute u walk in. Their view of the lake and hillside above it was just “we re here, now lets relax.” The house was very clean and nicely furnished. It felt as though we were in our own vacation home. We would love to visit again

Where is Keuka Lake, NY?

The Finger Lakes are a region in upstate New York known for their world-class wines, beautiful outdoors, and peaceful atmosphere. The lake itself measures just under 20 miles from north to south, but because of its Y-shape, is ranked third in size. You can find our Keuka Lake vacation rentals about halfway between Buffalo and New York City.

Things to do near Keuka Lake, NY

Keuka Lake is arguably the most scenic of the Finger Lakes, due to its panoramas of rolling vineyards and forest. The waters are shallow and warm in places, perfect for swimming. Fishing is another draw to the area, particularly for trout and landlocked salmon. If you don’t have a boat of your own, local companies offer rentals—you can even have canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards delivered to your Keuka Lake vacation rental.

The 44-mile circuit around Keuka Lake is a popular route for cyclists, and affords those spectacular vistas the area’s so famous for. Bike rentals are also available from local shops, should you need. Runners and hikers looking for a quick outdoor jaunt can turn to the Keuka Lake Outlet Trail, which connects you to nearby Seneca Lake via abandoned railroad tracks dappled with waterfalls.

If you’re looking for a longer outdoor excursion, our Keuka Lake lake house rentals are near multiple parks, forests, and preserves. The 621 acres of Keuka Lake State Park are open year-round, attracting hikers, cross-country skiers, and snowshoers. It’s also an excellent spot to launch your boat or to let the kids splash in the water; you can even rent kayaks and canoes here. History buffs can find the Beddoe-Rose Family Cemetery near the park—established around 1815, it’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

For a taste of local flair, be sure to stop by the Windmill Farm and Craft Market. Open every Saturday from April through December, the market boasts over 50 vendors selling an array of crafts, produce, flowers, prepared meals, and more. If you’re lucky, you may even catch a live music or dance performance.
