The location of the home was great and there were local shops you can walk to.

A little gem tucked away in the beautiful mountains of NY, full of old growth and beautiful landscapes. The condo was clean, quiet and had everything needed to enjoy your stay. Friendly faces and beautiful property, access to a small private beach adds to the relaxation. The parking is a little bit unclear, but there is a dirt parking lot around the side of the neighboring building a short walk away which is what we assumed to be the "big lot" mentioned. But your able to park close to pack/unload which helped a lot. Would absolutely return, staying here makes you never want to leave this beautiful area! There is so much to do locally, lots of history, and never short of beautiful surroundings.

Upstate New York cabin rentals are located north of New York City and its surrounding suburbs. The region includes the cities of Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo, as well as the state’s mountain ranges, recreation areas, and national parks. The Hudson River Valley, Finger Lakes, and Adirondack Park are beloved vacation spots, famous for their outdoor activities, wineries, historic mountain towns, and vibrant fall foliage.

Of the many things to do in this expansive area, you’ll find plenty of winter sports once the season rolls around, bountiful lakes for swimming and fishing, and 2,000 miles of hiking trails in the Adirondacks Mountains. Hop from city to mountain town to shop for antiques, outfitting outdoor gear, and New York’s largest shopping mall, Destiny USA. Take it easy on the lake, savor a night of wine tasting, or stop by a local ice cream stand after a day of adventure.
