We had a great stay at Lion Square Lodge and would absolutely book here again. The location is hard to beat — it’s directly behind the Lionshead Gondola and just a few minutes’ walk to everything in Lionshead, with about a 15-minute walk to Vail Village. Super convenient. The building amenities were excellent, including two good-sized hot tubs, free coffee and tea in the lobby, and a free shuttle that runs to Vail Village and nearby grocery stores. Having the Trail’s End Restaurant and Bar right in the building was a big plus, especially with their après specials after a day on the mountain. We also appreciated the option for daily housekeeping and found the front desk staff to be consistently friendly and helpful. Our room was newly renovated with cozy decor and felt very comfortable overall. As noted in the description, it was a bit dark due to the basement location, but it was still very clean and inviting. Overall, a great, convenient place to stay in Vail — we’d definitely return.

This condo was great with everything you need. The one downside was the location is in the north building and it was not clear that it’s located across the street from main buildings. Therefore not ski in and out. And nice pool and hot tubs were in main building as well.
