Recent Maalaea Bay vacation rental reviews

This was a great condo to stay in! It was well equipped with everything you could need without feeling cluttered. The attention to detail wasn’t missed in this on! Love it and will come again.

We fell in love with this oceanfront property! We spent our mornings talking walks along the beach right in front, afternoons at the pool and hot tub, and evenings watching the sunset right from our walkout terrace. The thoughtful amenities and details - including a care package with local delights and even some coffee, creamer, and sugar - made our stay even more memorable! We hope to visit again and again.

Location: from the 530 unit we saw whales (Feb 2024) daily, great view of the pool area (entertaining), and best part ... the lanai was always in the shade because of its position in the building (5th floor out of 6 floors, close to bldg front, center area). The unit had all new stuff and was very comfortable for us two. It included beach items (chairs, board, umbrella). Access was via elevator (available cart for costco food stuff!). Highly recommend. L and P from Boise.

A stay in our Maalaea Bay vacation rentals will put you just moments away from popular Kihei, the sunniest part of the island. This little slice of paradise offers six miles of shoreline that’s ideal for beachcombing and, just maybe, catching a glimpse of humpback whales. The stunningly vibrant waters are a popular spot for surfing, swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling.

Just offshore of Kihei, you’ll find Molokini: a tiny island known for its unique crescent moon shape where, for an unforgettable trip, you can scuba dive among the coral and over 200 species of tropical fish. Our Maalaea Bay condo rentals are also just moments from Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge, a wetlands sanctuary where you can meander along the raised boardwalks as you catch sightings of local birdlife.

Maalaea Bay is an ideal place to charter a fishing trip, whale-watching tour, or romantic sunset cruise. To really kick your vacation up a notch, you can even plan a special event on a private yacht with local companies such as Island Star Sailing.

The ocean is calling, inviting you on the tropical getaway of a lifetime—book a Maalaea Bay vacation rental today, and start making memories.
