Nature abounds in lovely Bethel, Maine, and our Bethel lodging is sure to evoke a sense of rest and relaxation. Hike one of the many area trails or enjoy a slice of pie and a cup of coffee at one of the charming mom-and-pop eateries in town. Whether its flora and fauna that gets you going or tree-lined streets and friendly locals, you'll find it here and our Bethel lodging is the perfect base from which to explore it all.

Founded in 1774 as Sudbury, Canada, Bethel is decidedly American in nature, with star-spangled flags proudly billowing in the summer breeze. The Atlantic and St. Lawrence Railroad in 1851 connected the sleepy town to bustling Portland and cosmopolitan Montreal. Wood manufacturing has long been a town staple and you'll find remnants of the old mills that once dominated the town. Today, Bethel is known as a scenic spot with plenty of beautiful green spaces at which to admire birds and wildlife.
