Amazing house, great view, and friendly neighbors in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood! All amenities were as listed. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

This house was perfect. We stayed over Christmas. The views are spectacular, the shades never closed. Everything in the house was high end, bathrooms and kitchen. Kitchen was stocked with more than enough supplies to cook any meals. Very convenient to anything we were doing in the area. Reno is a small town though. Would recommend and stay again!

Plan your Sparks getaway

Sparks works well for families, couples, and groups who want local parks and entertainment close at hand, with Reno museums and Lake Tahoe outings within the wider trip. Look for a home base near Sparks Marina for waterfront recreation or closer to Victorian Square for downtown dining, culture, and events.

Each vacation home is unique, so compare location and property type alongside the features that matter to your group. Parking, pet policies, kitchens, WiFi, laundry, outdoor space, and other amenities vary by home.

Things to do in Sparks

Build your in-city plans around Sparks Marina, Victorian Square, and a mix of family entertainment, shopping, and local history. These stops make it easy to balance outdoor time with flexible indoor options.

Sparks Marina

Sparks Marina offers a waterfront setting for walking, paddling, and taking in Sierra Nevada views. It fits travelers who want an easy outdoor break without leaving the city.

Best for:

Victorian Square

Victorian Square is downtown Sparks’ hub for dining, entertainment, public art, and major community events. Pair a walk through the district with the Sparks Heritage Museum or a meal nearby.

Best for:

Wild Island Family Adventure Park

Wild Island combines a seasonal waterpark with year-round bowling, mini golf, go-karts, and arcade games. It gives families and groups a flexible choice for active play, with indoor options available beyond waterpark season.

Best for:

The Outlets at Legends

The Outlets at Legends brings open-air shopping, dining, a movie theater, and other entertainment together near Sparks Marina. It works well for groups that want several choices in one stop or need a flexible break between outdoor plans.

Sparks Heritage Museum

The Sparks Heritage Museum uses indoor galleries, an outdoor train exhibit, and the historic Glendale Schoolhouse to share the city’s development and northern Nevada history. This smaller local stop is a good fit for history-minded travelers exploring Victorian Square.

Where to eat in Sparks

Dining is easiest to plan around Victorian Square and the Sparks Marina-Legends area. Victorian Square supports a downtown meal paired with museums, art, or events, while the Marina-Legends area makes it convenient to combine food with waterfront time, shopping, or a movie.

Great Basin Brewing Company

Great Basin Brewing Company serves house-brewed beer and a food menu that incorporates its craft beer at its Sparks brewpub. It is a practical downtown stop for adults pairing a meal with Victorian Square.

Sparks local tips

Day trips from Sparks

Sparks keeps Reno’s museums close while giving travelers a practical starting point for a longer Lake Tahoe outing. Keep these plans separate from your core Sparks itinerary so you can match the day’s pace to your group.

Sand Harbor

Sand Harbor sits on Lake Tahoe’s eastern shore and offers beaches, swimming, kayaking, rock formations, and shaded picnic areas. Make it a full-day outing from Sparks, and review Nevada State Parks’ current vehicle-entry reservation and transportation guidance before you go.
