Long time friends together for a getaway to your old farm retreat. We enjoyed the charm of the old farmhouse. We thought the location was central to the various Door county attractions. We enjoyed all the birds and saw some deer. All in all we enjoyed a relaxing weekend.

This is a very serene location. It's a cute, kitschy cottage right on the water with a private backyard and area to grill. Only a sweet, short walk to the Canal Island lighthouse and a quiet road to bike on for miles. The only criticism, and definitely not a deal breaker-still 5 stars- the beds. They are all pull-out couch beds and are not super comfortable. Overall a gem of a weekend in a nice-priced stay with a beautiful view.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a fire by the lake every night. I had reached out to the host to ask about a hair dryer and the house did not have one but they dropped a new one off that day which was really nice. The house was clean and quiet. It was close to lots of shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!
