Cozy, nice to have a fire place, newer hot tub, loved the dining table and benches, liked having an empty and clean refrigerator when we arrived
There were no extra kitchen trash bags, laundry soap, or paper towels
Home could use attention and upgrades, i.e. wash machine doesn't completely drain, kitchen sink backed up (Draino helped), home has older furnishings and older bedding/linens/throw pillows, upstairs bed mattress springs could be felt, kitchen has mostly older, low quality, and mismatched dishes, utensils, knives, peeler, pots, pans strewn in cupboards in a disorganized fashion
Outside grounds has metal roofing, barbed wire, old tools here and there not put away
If you are looking for a secluded cabin, this is it. I do recommend driving a truck or SUV, as the road is not paved and can be muddy in the rain. The only issue was the cobwebs in every doorway. The layout and the separation of the bedrooms was nice, and the main level bath was good size. The upper level bath is quite small, but we did not use it anyway. Very private. Would stay again.
It was the perfect size for our group, as we had some family come up for an early Thanksgiving visit and holiday meal. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck, using the hot tub, cooking in the kitchen was easy with all the things you need, and watching some football. The beautiful fall leaves made a great setting even better!
I loved the cabin! It was so perfect for our family. We took our dad on this trip as he wanted to see the fall foliage. He just entered Hospice care so this trip was important. It was so pretty, truly (Heavenly Peace). It was clean, quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the fires every evening. I can't wait to return next year!!
We had a great time. The fire pit made for some great hot dogs ans s'mores. There was a little lighter fluid there which helped with overnight wet wood. We went and bought more for the next guests. Took the hot tub a long time to get up to temp though. Overall great stay and would stay there again.
Loved the location, the size and coziness of the cabin. This was actually the 2nd time we rented this specific cabin and will likely rent again.
We did not like anything about this cabin. Not a comfortable vacation cabin. Needs new furniture and beds that you can actually sleep in and wake up without pain. We would not return here even if offered at no cost for a week!
We are disappointed to see this guest was displeased with this rental and understand it has a lot to do with this secluded cabin not being their first choice. We do hope to have another chance to impress our guest!
Cabin was nice and clean. Amenities (hot tub, sink stopped up, no cable TV or internet for 3 days) unacceptable in this day and age. We will not be back:(
We are sorry to see our guest didn't have a better experience with the amenities. The hot tub was in sleep mode, and the sink needed some draino; both of these items could have been taken care of promptly had the guest notified us. It did take some time to address the cable issue due to needing to coordinate between the satellite company and tree trimmers, but everything is now functioning. Thank you!
This cozy cabin was in the perfect location. Only a short distance in to town and close to another cabin where my sons wedding was held. Very reasonably price!!!
They were extremely helpful and checked up on us during our stay in the midst of a snow storm. It was extremely comforting knowing that we were taken care of. Thank you!
Thank you Sundance Cabins for making our visit so memorable...the cabin was clean and just beautiful. The area was serene and praceful...perfect name...we hope to come up again and highly recommend Sundance Cabins
Great email and verbal skills. The cabin was excellent and world gladly return. Thank you so much, and we will return to utilizing same services.
We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect and in a great location. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
Loved blue ridge ..... Can't wait to come back next year
My mother (81 years old) and I stayed at Heavenly Peace cabin while visiting her brother. The driveway into the cabin was flat, with only 1 step to the porch. My mother stayed on the first floor, and I took the bedroom and bath upstairs. It was perfect. We enjoyed looking at all the decor in the cabin. I wish there wasn't a cold spell so we could sit on the back porch!
We stayed at Heavenly Peace for our kids Spring Break. This was our first experience renting a cabin and coming to Blue Ridge, GA. We found the cabin to be spacious enough for the 4 of us and our dogs. It was nice to be able to prepare some of our meals. The kitchen has most things you would need for cooking. The cabin is located in a woodsy area off a gravel road. We knew when people drove by but other than that, we did not hear anybody while staying there. We found the cabin was close enough to town to go do a few things during the day. We went to the Mericer Orchard and had lunch and looked around the huge store. We also went to the Swinging Bridge. We went to see 3 waterfalls. Fall Branch Falls was a little disappointing. Long Creek Falls, was a nice hike, I believe about 1 mile. Sea Creek Falls was great and the walk was the easiest. We made reservations at Hells Hollow to go horseback riding and zip lining. The kids loved that! The cabin does have a few games, like checkers, chess, Monopoly, and a game like Trivia Pursuit (I can't remember the Name)They have a TV, dvd, VHS player with movies. We decided to not watch any tv while staying at the cabin and it was nice spending time together as a family. We experienced a rain and hail storm while staying at the cabin which caused us to lose power for about 2 hours one night. We called the Sundance Cabin Rental and let them know,so they could call the power company. We found a few candles and flashlights to get by. I would recommend bringing your own flashlights just in case. I would have been nice to have a few more.
We had a wonderful time! Thank you for all your help! Tammy C.
It was a beautiful Cabin, Especially good for pets, being as we had 2 dogs there. There is a nice screened in porch, and a fenced deck with a hot tub, so the dogs can enjoy the outside weather with us. The hot tub was clean, and functioning well. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with glasses, pots, pans, etc. We couldn't get the wood in the fire place to burn (It was very humid, so I assume the wood got wet), so I would suggest bringing a "starter log," if you want to start a fire. Also, a good thing to do would be to save the location to google maps (latitude/longitude), so that people can follow the Navi there. Once we locked the navi in, it was perfect to find the cabin. However, when we tried to use the address on the cabin paperwork, it took us to the wrong place. So highly suggest following driving directions, if the owners do not put the coordinates on the paperwork for the navi. The cabin can easily accommodate 6 people, but we only had 2, and it was still perfect. Great weekend! Thanks guys!
Our family of 5 (3 teenage girls) + dog had a wonderful time at Heavenly Peace cabin. We went hiking at Ocoee Whitewater Center, rode the Scenic Blue Ridge Railway, and went zip-lining. The cabin suited us perfectly. Enjoyed having a fire, dinner in the cabin, and family time each evening. Only suggestions I have would be some fluffier bed pillows and a big fry pan.
