While McCaysville may sit on Georgia's state border, there's no shortage of Southern charm here! Nestled in the mountains and forests, this town welcomes guests with food, friendliness, and fun. Visitors often pass through on their way to the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway a little further south, but you just might want your very own McCaysville cabin rental to linger a little longer in this cute town.
This Blue Ridge town sits right on the border between Tennessee and Georgia (be sure to get a photo taken with one foot on each side of the painted state line running through town!). McCaysville is about 25 miles north of gorgeous Ellijay, and about ten miles away from both the town of Blue Ridge and the charming area of Mineral Bluff. This entire region is full of beautiful mountains, forests, and rivers that draw travelers eager to reconnect with nature and their sense of adventure.
Aside from our charming McCaysville vacation rentals, the town offers much in the way of tourism. Set out on a river excursion with the Rolling Thunder River Company, which offers family-friendly rafting trips on the Toccoa River. Tubing and kayaking are other fun river options if rafting isn't your style. Stroll down Toccoa-Ocoee Street to experience the town's array of restaurants, shops, and art galleries. From May through September, you can enjoy live music at Horseshoe Bend Park at the weekly Pickin' In The Park event.
Whether you're on your way to a different destination or staying in McCaysville for your whole vacation, there's something for every visitor here on the state border. We have a McCaysville cabin rental for every traveler, so make yourself at home!
