Great location and easy access to much of anything you would need. Quiet and cozy neighborhood - tucked away. Very open space - great for entertaining and relaxing with friends and family. I would definitely stay in this home a second time.
Very nice location. Nice home as well.
Can’t overstate how much we enjoyed the back porch- waterfront views - very peaceful
We absolutely loved it there! The deck was our favorite. It’s so peaceful and cozy! We loved that it had all the comforts of home. It was nice to not have to bring linens and towels too.
We stayed here in July and had a great time. 5 stars and would recommend! Very clean, except for a bit of sand by the door (being by the beach, this is expected). Kitchen was fully stocked, and they had all the basic amenities, including towels, shampoo, dish soap, detergent. The bay view was my favorite part of the house, along with the patio area. The patio was a really nice place to relax, although I recommend mosquito repellant! We had a group with several different ages, and everyone (especially the teenager) enjoyed the three separate common areas: living room, sun room, and patio. Also, there's an outdoor shower! So convenient! Neighborhood was safe, clean, and pretty quiet once curfew/quiet hours hit. The location is great as well. It's about a 12 minute walk to the beach, but there was also plenty of street parking available during the weekdays by the dune entrance. Since it is further north of the boardwalk, the beach was nice, clean, and not crowded. It is about a 20 minute drive to the busy end of the boardwalk, by the pier. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a grocery store about 5 minute drive away. Just a couple of very minor things about the house that I think is worthwhile to mention. There are 2 canoes available for use as advertised, but we could not find the paddles, so did not get to utilize them. We also could not find a key into the shed, although the instructions on the bulletin board said we could (where the paddles presumably were stored). Additionally, the bulletin board has some outdated contact info-- we called a number listed on it to ask about the paddles and instead, reached a previous owner. Finally, one of the sofabeds is in the sunroom. Not a big deal if you aren't at max occupancy, but since it was mid-July, we had to leave the door open until it cooled down outside. All in all, these were just minor concerns. I would most definitely rent again!
We appreciate the guests feedback. Unfortunately, the key was misplaced and we are waiting on the owner to mail in a spare so that guests have access to the shed. Local staff has also taken down the outdated information on the wall.
Loved being 3 blocks from beach, loved having kayak and canoes and launching from the back porch. Place was a little dated and only one of the many TVs were setup for Netflix. Internet worked great. I would stay again in a heartbeat. The community pools and miniature golf course was a nice addition.
The home was pretty much just as advertised, it is on the water with it's own dock, had a friend come with a boat and it was very convenient to pull right up to the property. The home was very clean and up to date and well equipped, central air worked great. Some previous reviewers had issues with the television, it could be spelled out a bit clearer that it definitely does not have cable television, and not sure if I was doing something wrong but I could only get Netflix on the family room TV, not on the bedroom TV at all. Overall a great place to stay.
Guests are always welcome to call for assistance or clarification with the electronics. Thanks!
Hine was cute. Perfect for our stay.
