This was a perfect home for our multi-family holiday! It was clean. The kitchen was a great size for multiple cooks. We loved having a separate beverage fridge. The pantry stored all the miscellaneous kitchen stuff we brought.
Info we couldn’t tell from the pics that might help others decide:
There were common spaces on each floor which allowed for small and large group congregating. The porch wraps around the entire house with 3 swings, 3 tables and lots of seating. There are 2 bedrooms with king beds on the ground floor, 1 bedroom with a king bed on the 1st floor, and a bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with a full and twin bed on the 2nd floor. There isn’t a blu ray player (DVD only) for the main floor TV. There are 3 fireplaces, 1 in the main floor bedroom, the other 2 in the common areas on the ground and main floor.
The main thing we didn’t know from the pics is what a great view there would be. We all loved it! The cabin averaged 12 minutes from a main road so plan on extra time to get places, but we thought the view and relative seclusion worth it!
Family of 10 loved this cabin. We had plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen and eating area was roomy and well equipped.
Wrap around porch and hot tub were so nice to hang out, seating and swings for all.
Drive to cabin was curvy and straight up but view and atmosphere of being secluded was so very nice. Plenty of parking at house.
Rental company and maintenance staff for a couple of small issues were so responsive and friendly that we couldn’t have been more pleased.
We had a few bad weather days and were just fine with games, movies, and books. Video game downstairs was lots of fun for all ages.
We all agreed this was one of the best cabins and areas to stay in the more than 20 years of staying in the Smokies.
Very close to the National Park and to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with all kinds of activities and restaurants and shops close by. Wears valley was such a neat little area and so pretty.
I don’t see any reasonable vacationers being disappointed with this beautiful and comfortable cabin!
We loved the house, the size, the privacy. The views were great.
We have been coming to Smoky Mountain area for the past 10 years and I think we finally found the perfect cabin for our group. Not only was the kitchen spacious, but everyone favorite feature was the walk-in pantry with beverage cooler. The amount of shelving was great for all of our dry goods and allowed us to not be in the way of those cooking.
The bedrooms were also great with each having its own bathroom and the view were outstanding.
The listing should add that there is not only a charcoal grill but also a propane grill on the deck and the kitchen does have a Keurig machine, that is the most important for those coffee drinkers. The views were outstanding and with no excessive lighting, we were able to view the stars and moon.
This cabin was the perfect place for friends and I to celebrate a birthday. It had the perfect amount of rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. I appreciated the shampoo, conditioner and soap that was available in every bathroom. The drive to the cabin was a little nerve wrecking but well worth it.
The views were unbeatable and the mountains did not disappoint!! When we arrived we entered a clean, well stocked and nicely furnished house with all the appliances and amenities you could need while on vacation. Each room had comfy beds and linens and the bathrooms were all stocked with plenty of towels and toilet paper. There is ample sitting room outside on the deck and on every floor’s sitting room. All the TV’s worked and satellite was in every room except the downstairs room with the desk. It was DVD/TV only. The hot tub was well maintained and clean. Temperature was a perfect 104* and felt amazing after a day of hiking. We were there for a week and never needed any cookware other than what was there so no need to pack up your kitchen. There is no sugar or spices but only salt and pepper. There were complimentary laundry tabs but only about 5 and I think there were only 2 dishwasher tabs so you might want to grab some at the dollar store located at the bottom of the mountain. Coffee filters were plenty and there is a Keirig and a regular coffee maker. We absolutely loved the gas fireplaces and not having to build a fire was a plus! There are only 2 trash barrels outside so if you’re a big group like us (10) you may need to arrange for a pick up. We drove 3 vehicles and when it’s rainig, the mountain roads were a bit tricky getting to the cabin. We had a 4WD Dodge 2500 truck, a Toyota Rav 4 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The SUV’s spun a little on some of the very sharp turns while going up to the cabin but the dodge was fine in 4WD while it was slick. Otherwise, driving was fine. Gatlinburg was about 35 minutes away and Pidgeon Forge a little closer. I highly recommend the Smokey Mountain Foothills Parkway that just opened after almost 50 years in the making. The views are gorgeous and there are lots of lookouts for photo ops. The house offers a remarkable view that you don’t even need to leave the cabin for. Several waterfalls are very close (Laurel Falls) and we were able to get in some trout fishing about 25 minutes away. Govt shutdown interfered with Cades Cove but we visit there every time we go so we’re disappointed that it was closed off. We’ve been to Tennessee 3 times and this cabin was, by far, the unanimous favorite. Highly recommended and will definitely be back!!
Great cabin. great views. cabin was a bit dirty when we arrived. many cob webs throughout as though it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. lots of food under couches, (cereal, crumbs, etc.). Couldn't get fireplace downstairs to light and fireplace in main level Master lit but smelled like gas. had an issue with the fridge when we first arrived but maintenance was quick to help get this resolved. wi-fi was sketchy so be prepared to re-boot router many times. only 3 trash bags. such a large cabin you would think they would anticipate more than three bags of trash on a 3 night stay. Called the customer service number several times about the cleanliness issue and was told someone from the local management team would be contacting us, but never received a phone call. poor follow through from that end. again, the views are amazing. would definitely stay here again.
First time in this cabin but sure there will be plenty more stays ahead. Cabin was very spacious and had all you could need as far as cooking utensils and pots. Very spacious with plenty of rooms that had their own bathrooms, huge plus for a large group. The pictures were good but did this cabin no justice, it was amazing. Awesome view and very private, you were at the end of the road meaning no traffic noise. Only fault, if you could say it was a fault, was the very crooked road going to the cabin, probably not passable in the Winter time but well worth the drive any other time. Oh and word of warning, not sure but I think there is a shooting range at the bottom of the mountain and opens around 8:30 maybe? By 8:35 WWIII breaks out so expect early wake up shots on Saturday mornings! This is not to be held against the cabin owners cause this is completely out of their hands and because the cabin itself was truly remarkable. Thanks for a great family gathering, we really enjoyed our stay.
I can't say enough about the view from this cabin! I think this was one of the best views we have had while staying in the Mountains. Cabin was clean and private. A bit of a drive to get to it but well worth it!
Loved the place. Zero issues!
Everything was wonderful needs a pool table
