Comfortable home on 13-acre property w/screened-in gazebo, hammocks
This beautifully decorated home is situated on 13 peaceful acres. There is a large pond with a clubhouse for swimming and fishing (catch and release only) with floaties, a dock, and fountain. The gazebo is screened-in and has hammocks to relax in, an outdoor kitchen for grilling. If that wasn't enough, there is also a six-hole Frisbee golf course.
The home is located just off route 108 in Stowe which is lined with restaurants and shopping. For the snow season, there is downhill and cross-country skiing and snowboarding at Smuggs and Stowe Mountain as well as snowmobiling and snowshoeing. In the warmer months, you will find breathtaking trails for hiking and biking, swimming holes, and an adventure center with zip lines and rock climbing, and don't forget about the fall foliage.

Beautiful home with a lovely yard, close to Stowe and good restaurants. Recommend.
The land that this house is on was amazing. It was so relaxing and beautiful. There were so many different places to hang out. I will miss it! I would definitely stay here again.
We loved everything about this rental. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The property was absolutely stunning. We loved the pond and used the canoe and paddleboard. My favorite was the gazebo by the river. The sound was so peaceful, the lilly pond was stunning also. Can't wait to come back.
The house was wonderfully clean and ready for guests. Easy access is always a bonus and this was the case. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms could not have been more comfortable. The most impressive part of the rental is the property with ponds, streams, and woods all around. This may be the best rental for the price in Stowe.
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at the Stowe Sanctuary, while wrapping up our skiing season and Mount Mansfield. Very comfortable house on a beautiful property. Close to both the Mountain Ski Resort and the Village of Stowe, yet peaceful and serene for nature lovers. While having a self prepared dinner (made in a fully equipped kitchen), we were watching deer and wild turkeys passing by. Highly recommend this property for any season and length of stay. We may come back in the summer!
The house is great but the property is what amazed us the most and added so much value to this rental.
A nice home, especially for cooks and bakers. Built circa 2007, make of solid construction and appropriate amenities. Set between the mountain and town, the property is sprawling, going on for acres. When we got too much snow to ski, we put on our boots and explored.
My family and I loved the home and the property. We travelled with children and it was a great area for them to get out and play in the snow. The only hiccup was we were provided with the wrong code to get in. Thankfully the team was quick to respond. It could have been a bit of a problem as we were travelling with 4 kids. The only other thing is I would suggest you bring some fire wood or burning logs as the fire wood provided was wet and would not burn. Non the less, the home is stunning and well equipped making for a lovely getaway.
