Internet homely feeling
Snowside unit 22 was spacious and clean. Like others commented before us, there is limited seating in the living room area of just a futon. There could be an extra single chair/seat in there. The kitchen must be original to the 1970s.
I Rented this unit while my child trained for ski racing at Mount Ellen for the week. You can’t get any closer. 1 min drive and walkable with more snow. About 8 mins to Sugarbush. About a 10 minute drive to Shaws grocery store, post office and great shopping. WiFi was good and allowed me to work all week with zoom etc and no issues. The gas fireplace was a nice addition and the view out back was peaceful with a wide open field and lots of cardinals. Kitchen had everything you could need. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean. The bathrooms are dated and the showerhead and tub nozzles were loose. Wayer pressure was okay but fixtures could benefit from being replaced or firmed up. Tub didn’t drain quickly so you showered with three or 4 inches of water in the bottom. That clearly has been an issue for a while because there were obvious rings on the clear shower curtains.
We were quite pleased with this unit as it served it’s purpose and allowed us to be close, have our needs met, and ski. It definitely wasn’t luxury.
Staff was accommodating for a later check out when needed for my ski racer which I greatly appreciated.
